Hannah hit the ground and proceeded to lay there, the wake of the final attack leaving her completely drained in her form for battle. Still, even in unconsiousness, her boneclub was gripped tightly.
"Hannah, return." The red lazer light from the pokeball zapped her up into it's mouth, as it clamped shut. It was now a time for healing, this moment after the fight. Leaning forwards, Choppi gave a kiss to the top of her pokeball, an after fight ritual she'd adopted. Hannah worked hard for her, and she treasured that so much. A smile split her lips.
"Oh!" She exclaimed, almost forgetting the most important part of the fight. Tying the pokeball to her ponytail, she hurried off in the direction of the opposing trainer. Messa. She had to thank her.

Messa stood there dumbfounded. She replaced her hat back upon her head and turned to Kiru who had now fallen asleep in front of her. That always happens after a battle with him. He just falls right back to sleep. Smiling, she picked Kiru up and cradled him. She smiled lightly as she turned to Choppi. "Um...um...Good...battle?" she said, trying to encourage the fact she did help out somewhat, though Kiru overpowered her immensely by not following orders. She took the toll of this really hard on her. Kiru had a habit of doing so. But, she didn't mind it. Kiru was happy right?

"I want to thank you for letting Kiru out to battle..." Choppi looked to the side, knowing it was going to be hard to say, but it had to be said. "But I have to ask you something Messa." The watcher was having a hard time looking the ranger in the eyes. Then finally she raised her head.
"You love Kiru right?" She quired, clasping her hands together in emotion. Leaning in closer, she continued..."I don't mean to question you in anyway...but I mean this in a most sincere and respectful manner." Obviously, Choppi wanted to chat with Messa about Kiru, but the girl was having a really hard time decided how to do it. Knowing that Messa was more timid than most, she was trying to take that into consideration, but she was convinced that it was already on the wrong foot.

Messa nodded her head furiously towards the questions, her eyes arched down. "Y-yes!" she stammered as she tried her best to not look surprised at the questions. "I love Kiru very...very m-much. I want to make him happy. Battling...makes him happy. So I let...him battle." she simply said.

"That's not love...at least, well..." Choppi reached out and took her hands in hers, clasping them together. "Show him you love him. Train, and fight together. If you love him, you'll help him do what he loves."
Choppi looked Messa into her eyes directly. "He's an amazing fighter, so be proud." Honestly, she meant those words. If they worked together, they could be unbeatable. "He believes he can fight because he loves it. Show him you believe in him. Back him up. That's the best thing you can do for him."
She smiled and winked at the ranger then, her air of confidence and happiness evidently restored by speaking her mind. No way did she want to hurt the pair, because it was more than apparent, Kiru was a precious treasure to her.
"We'll have to have a rematch again sometime. Maybe Hannah and I will have some new tricks by then." Then, she stuck out her hand to shake her opponents. "Yea?"

Messa nodded her head with confidence, clasping her hand with Choppi's. "Y-yes!" she giggled lightly. She would look forward to that rematch, whenever it would happen.
