The astro-scientists say that the sun will die/explode and the Milky Way galaxy will collide with the biggest local galaxy, causing the bigger galaxy to destroy our galaxy, either destroying the Earth or flinging it out alone into an area of space where we don't have a sun. 3nodding I watch learning channels. xd

I've heard that also; although I don't think they were talking about it happening in twenty-twelve. I think that would be a little to soon for the sun burning out all of it's energy, and/or the Andromeda Galaxy colliding with the Milky Way.
Although, I would not mind being alive to see that. whee That would look freaking awesome.

It would be freaking awesome!!!! whee You were right, now that I think of it. sweatdrop They didn't say that'd happen in 2012. They said both of those would happen in 50 billion years or so. My bad. sweatdrop I just got caught up in the "End of the Earth" discussion. My older brother may be the end of the world. 3nodding He's going to eradicate the human race. xd (Yeah, right! xp )

Exactly, that would be freaking gorgeous.
A galactic collision would quite possibly be the most beautiful way to be destroyed.
Seriously, just look at that. Although, I still say I would prefer to die in a zombie apocalypse. [:
Much more fun.

NO WAY!!!! VAMPIRES ARE NEVER ZOMBIES! There's a HUGE difference!!!! Especially since vamps are extremely hot. 3nodding And I wouldn't want to be bit by a Cullen, either. Dun want to turn into a pixie! xd

Get back on topic. My vote for the ending of the world comes from a book. Chances are, you've heard of it, and they call it "Revelations." Zombies sound fun and all, but seriously they couldn't take out the human race. I'm far too prepared for that. Instead, a Zombie Apocalypse is... Quote: A Zombie Apocalypse is one of the many potential Global Catastrophes (large events that may wipe humanity out of existence). What is assumed to happen is that when the Zombie Apocalypse occurs, it will bring forth a mass of zombies that will begin killing any human that they can catch by surprise, and those who get overwhelmed. During the process of killing humans, these humans have a good chance to turning into zombies themselves. By this long chain reaction and the widespread panic, most of humanity will be wiped out. -ZEP

Well the mayan calander I think stopped just cause they were killed and where it did stop happened to be at the end of the 13th rotation(or interval or something I can't remember the name) and some say that the world as we know it will no longer exist(doesn't mean the world is gonna end it's just suppose to change.)
