"Agh! They're thawing! We can't let them catch up Clemmy!"
Lenne looked behind her and watched as the team started to move once more.
"Come on Clemmy, let's try Ice Beam again! We can't let them catch up!"
Clementine looked behind her and shot an ice beam behind her, hoping to hit the competition.

As soon as they were able to move again, the arcanine started to dash after the other team. "Safeguard!" Llyri ordered. That was NOT going to happen again. She agreed. The shield appeared around them just as she dodged around a second ice beam. HP: 800/1000

The arcanine was starting to get really annoyed with being attacked. Now that they were catching up, she put on an extra burst of speed and tried to ram into the other team using a Body Slam. "Keep running!" Llyri protested. She was fast and he knew it. He'd felt it in the previous race. If only they could just pull ahead enough.. HP: 800/1000

"Agh!" Lenne screamed as the sled crashed into a suddenly paralyzed Clementine. "What on earth?!"
Clementine's legs wouldn't move, but she was obviously very frustrated, trying her hardest to break through. They were ahead of the game, she couldn't let anything stop her.
"Come on Clemmy! We can still do this!"

"All right girl. Nice work." Llyri praised, urging the arcanine forward. She didn't always listen, but he didn't mind as long as whatever she came up with worked. She was the racing veteran here, not him. "Agility again." he breathed as she began to find her stride again. Her pace increased steadily as she ran until they were flying over the landscape. Piper sat in the sled, pouting, because she wasn't allowed to help.
Clementine was trying to her hardest to break out of the paralysis as well, but to no avail. A slight shift of her toe, but that was the extent.

"Faster." Just one word, although the arcanine needed no prompting. She continued to speed up with another Agility until she was moving as fast as she could. The wind whipped her long fur into Llyri's face, obscuring his vision, but it was all right that he couldn't see where they were going. She could. The body slam had set them off course a good way, but they were catching up fast. HP: 800/1000

Finally, Clementine broke free of her paralyzed prison and rushed off again to make her way.
"We have to break their speed... Or at least do something to catch up..."
Clementine turned back to look at her trainer, and then ran forth once again.
"Clemmy, use Rock Tomb to lower their speed!"

Snarling with rage, the arcanine slammed into the other team's marowak again, trying to knock it away from the race path. This was supposed to be a race, not a battle! They were supposed to run! (and how dare she throw rocks at her? That was just plain insulting!) If they wanted a battle, they could have one. She'd just have to knock them around. "Keep running!" Llyri protested. They had no time to stop for a fight. In the state she was in, the arcanine couldn't possibly win. She was already injured! (Body Slam. Trying to paralyze.) HP: 800/1000

Pssh, race, this had become a battle for Clementine. That's what she was good at, and how she had become so strong to begin with.
"ANOTHER PARALYSIS?!" Lenne screamed outloud in fury. Piper ducked out of site, she hated Lenne when she was angry.
"Grrr. Clemmy! Come on, we have to kick their butt, you have to watch yourself!"

Wow, what a waste. I'm going to have to leave early because I have to go to the bank to sort out my real life money problems, because I supposedly owe over 100 dollars to the bank, so if you're not willing to hold off until I return, then I guess we have to forfeit because Fin has a final to take. I'd be back once I'm done, but that's up to you. =/
