Chaos gave a harsh laugh that was more of a bark. He was silent for a time, but finally spoke once more. "Do you happen to know an absol by the name of Isamu?" he asked, trying to make it an innocent question. But his tone gave him away; it was clear that just hearing the name made his teeth grind, and the thought of the absol made him tense and angry. But Chaos was not so sure that, even if he did meet the absol, he would be ready. Chaos was strong, of course, and could beat most any pokemon in his sleep. At least, that's what he believed.
But he had been defeated in Inhinx. And then there was always the problem with the witch's curse, as Chaos liked to put it. He had made a promise with Bell, though he had little choice at the time, but a promise was a promise. He would not turn back on his word. Chaos may be a lot of things that he was not proud of, but he was determined to never break a promise; he was a pokemon of his word. After all, if you couldn't trust someone to keep a promise, you couldn't trust them at all... And to not be trustworthy made you lower than dirt.
So Chaos believed. Even though he did not trust anyone and he never got close enough to another to be trusted, he still valued it, as a citizen values royalty, though they can never have it.

"Isamu...." Faraon's eyes close for a momenta s he walked, thinking deeply about his two battles with the absol. It was hard to believe...His eyes finally reopen to the darkness of his own visual world. "Yes, I know him." He murmured softly as continue walking. "I face him in two battles, one cost my trainer and I an opportunity, but the first battle, I am unsure of how was agreed upon. I suppose our trainers hold some interest to each other."
He remember their voices, low murmurs from Adriel and the orders from Kailana. He shook his head. "Two forces driven by the same fire into different paths I suppose..." He muttered to himself before turning his head to Chaos. "He has wrong you." It wasn't a question.

Chaos was silent once more. "It is he that I seek," he said brusquely. "I know that he is staying here with a human. And so am I. That is why I am training here... So that I may bring him shame in battle." Chaos stopped abruptly, contemplating what he had just said. It was an awful lot to tell a stranger, but then, he had needed to get it off his chest for a while.
"He drove me from my home," Chaos said quietly. "For that, he can never be forgiven... Revenge is the only thing that will settle me."

Faraon remind quiet for some time after the last words were shared. "While I cannot agree with driving another from their home, I cannot, also, relate to your need for revenge against him without know his reasoning first. I refuse to follow another, lacking better wording, blindly just because he seems to be now insane."
His clouded eyes turned to the sky. "But neither will I stop you."

Chaos snorted. "I was not asking for your guidance or opinion." He made his voice sound indifferent, but the old persian's words got him thinking. Why had Isamu forced everyone away? Probably because he's a crazy old thing who wanted more territory. It didn't matter, though... Chaos would have his revenge either way.
The absol blinked. They had walked quite far... He wasn't sure how to get back now. "... Where are we?" he asked, trying to sound off-hand.

Faraon arched an eyebrow. "You realize you are asking the blind where we are...." He smirked softly then sniffed around. "Hmmm....not sure...but-" Their ears were assaulted by a whistle, the feline turned to face a six feet five inches tall man with long white hair. "Ah...Adriel...."
"Well...what do we have here...." The man said calmly as he approached. "An old cat and young dog....interesting." The old souled healer crouched down. "When Writer said you wander off, I thought you would get lost, I see I was quiet right." He chuckled when the persian huffed.

Chaos immediately crouched into a defensive position and growled at Adriel, but he calmed when he saw that Faraon was friends with the human. Warily, the Absol sniffed. It appeared that this was the human that the old persian was staying with.
Chaos did his best to look unworried, though he was still suspicious of the new human. He also hoped that the man wouldn't take the persian away and leave him stranded here... It would be troublesome to find his way back alone, for the snow blotted out almost all scent and there were far too many footprints to follow their track.

Dr. Hart gave a friendly smile at the absol before turning to Faraon. "Whose your friend?" The persian gave him a look. "Right, sorry, stupid question. Anyways, I'm making lunch, would you two want to come with me and eat or you are still in your walk?"
Faraon turned his head to Chaos, giving him a questioning look. "Your choice, kid, its all the same to me. Thought his food is pretty good"

Chaos did his best to make his choice not too obvious. "Well... I suppose food couldn't hurt." And, with all the dignity he could muster, he followed the human. It was infuriating that he looked like this human's pet, but no one was accusing him of anything. And now that he thought of it, he was a little hungry...

Rising to his feet, he smiled at them and started walking back. "Alright good."
Faraon leaped about the snow and bolted up to the human, throwing him face first into a pile of snow. He sat on the back of the man, smirking as he heard muffle curses. "Humans are entertaining creatures, aren't they..." He grinned at Chaos.
The man threw the large feline off him, his coat and white hair almost blending completely against the recent fallen snow. "Fafa, do that again and I will use your guts to string my violin!" The feline just laughed.

Chaos watched quizzically. What a strange thing to do... "... Fafa?" he smirked. "Very nice." He knew that he was treading on thin ice to tease a persian, but he believed himself strong enough to take the old feline on. After all, how hard could it be to beat a blind old cat?
Still, he did not understand why Faraon had attacked the human, unless he was mad at him or defending himself. But it appeared that it was just for fun, and the human wasn't too displeased. It made no sense at all. Chaos snorted and kept his distance.

Faraon arched an eyebrow at Chaos. "Yes, Fafa. You will do well to not repeat it, Beauty" He gave his own smirk. The human began walking, mumbling under his breath.
"Careful, Faraon, you seem to be scaring your friend." He finally said out loud enough to be made sense out of.
The feline turned his head at Chaos. "What is there to be scare of? Besides the insanity from the human?"
"I heard that." Came in response from said man.

Chaos bared his teeth as Faraon called him Beauty, but he decided it was not worth a quarrel. He had called him Fafa, so it was a fair response... Not that that made him like it any more.
"I'm not afraid of you," he said truthfully. "I am merely... interested in your actions. I prefer to view from afar." Despite saying this, Chaos came closer. "Why do you do that?" he asked bluntly, gesturing with a blade at the man.

Faraon tilted his head slightly, his eyes picked up on the movement of the blade, just barely. "Its fooling around, Chaos. It just good nature bickering and fighting. You know, like we used to do with our litter mates before we left the nest. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to n** and pounce on one's human, it reminds them we are not just fighting machines or show pokemon, not that this one needs any reminder of that....but its also relaxing to know that you can do that. It isn't good to always be adult and it doesn't hurt to act like a cub every once in a while. Its good for the heart and the mind."

Chaos tilted his head to one side. He did not think of Renekai as his puppyhood friend. How would she react if she jumped on her? The thought amused him. He might try it out some time.
"I do enjoy healthy endeavors," Chaos said dryly. He shook his head, a trace of a smile on his lips. Not only humans were strange; other pokemon could be just as odd.
