Hyacinth nodded, "I am being very careful to take good care of it." He explained to her, looking down at the flowering plant with a happy look on his face. He felt... a lot happier then he had in a long while. It made things more cheerful to have something to take care of, to talk to, even if it were just a plant. Even though there was still some of the old saddness about him it was very vague, especially with Ebony present.

Anani was following along after them, quietly and curiously, not understanding it all but seemed determined to figure it out. How was she able to get Hyacinth, who had been so sad since the incident with the demons, to smile like this?

"Are gardens hard to maintain?" Hyacinth asked, wondering if they would be able to grow more flowers out in the courtyard. They called it a garden but it was mostly green plants, not as many flowers as would be nice out there.

Anani blue eyes narrowed a little, feathers fluffing up, and she shook her head, "You don't need a whole garden, besides if something happened to it you would be sad again." She told her brother, seeing no reason why he should put his heart into a project when the Techs could destroy it just to mess with the angel.

He blinked a couple times then hugged the potted plant he held closer and walked the rest of the distance to the courtyard in silence.

Avis was sitting on one of the benches, legs crossed, hands resting on them while her four golden wings flapped behind her lightly as she waited.

Hyacinth sat down on the grass, setting the potted plant down next to him and seemed to relax a bit in the presence of his other sister. She wasn't one who could talk with him very well due to his being a male but she still helped to relax him.

Avis sat forward on the bench, looking first at her brother then over to Anani, "You did come along." She said, sounding along surprised by the turn of events.

The abstinence angel puffed of a bit and sat on the bench, "I couldn't very well not come along." She murmured, and despite how she tried to look as though she were uncaring about it all the curiousity in her eyes was easy to see.

Avis looked into the tin, reaching ou to take one of the gingerbread cookies and then lifted it up to her mouth to take a bite, "Oh, this is very good. Thank you Ebony." She said, giving a smile.

Hyacinth looked at the tins in a curious manner and even Anani was observing though she had no desire to taste what was inside. The scent of them was nice though... after a moment of taking in the scents of the cookies she found herself looking over at where the flower was sitting.

Hyacinth looked at the cookies for a long while, debating on it then reached out to take one of the chocolate chip cookies. He sniffed at it before taking a bite, "Ooooo." He murmured, giving a bright smile, "This is very good." He then proceeded to eat the rest of the tasty treat, his wings fluttering behind him in a delighted manner.

Anani watched her siblings before looking over at Ebony, "Ahh..." She hadn't been meant to be caught starring at the flower with such interest but it was nice... she finally rose to her feet, moving over to it, "I could move it." She moved toward the plant slowly, cautiously, as though she were unsure whether the plant could be trusted...

Avis gave a soft chuckle, "It won't bite Anani, its not a fly trap."

Anani looked the plant over before she finally sat down near to it as Hyacinth was doing with his plant and set to it inspecting it further, "Fly traps are... weird plants that eat bugs." She said without looking up. From her tone of voice she didn't sound as though she cared for that sort of plant very much... after all plants were supposed to be pretty things that fed insects and smelled good... not things that went around eating others.

"They eat to survive, sort of like wild animals." Avis added, so that Anani's opinion of the plant wouldn't sway Ebony about what she thought about it.

Hyacinth seemed to busy enjoying his cookie to be to worried about the topic at hand, he'd never seen a fly trap before but thought they sounded some what interesting... he understood why his sister wouldn't like them though, after all she was more closely related to plants then anything else so having one that went around eating things would seem out of place to her.

Anani merely gave a 'Hmm' sound as she gave her attention to the plant in front of her, lifting her wing like arms to brush the tips of her feathers carefully over a petal. It was a most interesting looking plant, very deep and rich colors... though maybe a bit to much like blood for her to be as entranced with it as Hyacinth was with his pet plant. None the less she did like it, "Its pretty." She said quietly.

Avis gave a smile then turned to Ebony, "They tastes very wonderful... I think... I have never had this sort of treat before so I have nothing to compare it to." She said honestly, they tasted good though that was the important part.

Hyacinth and Anani both looked to Ebony at her question... then to Avis looking rather curious as to what she was going to answer with.

The blond angel was already blushing quite furiously, "Ahh... Well, simply put I am an Angel of Chastity." She told her young friend. She didn't think though that Ebony would understand, surely she was to young for such a subject to come up around? Yes... which meant she would have to explain, "Ummm... its to save oneself. For humans its done for purposes of marriage." Though Avis was most assuredly not interested in marriage!
