Anael De Ezra The Retanator Insomnesiac @Ret: Concussion gonk Hope you feel better...and be careful. ): Yeah... the doctor said not to do anything that will "Re-bruise my brain" seeing as a concussion is a bruise on my brain, so obviously math class is now off limits... Right? Oh, definitely. And you can't do any homework either, that'll definitely cause further damage. Homework is off-limits for Ret! Unfortunately for me, I can't claim this anymore... I was in a car accident Monday, which gave me the concussion, and then in the next few days I had to take tests in three subjects, and got 100%'s on two of them and haven't gotten the third one back yet. Essentially... the concussion made me SMARTER. What the hell's up with that? I'm supposed to have a reason to NOT go to school

It's a literary theory class, and I'm approaching Shakespeare's "Titus Andronicus" from a Barthean standpoint by dividing it into lexias and analyzing each piece under the five codes (hermeneutic, semiotic, proairetic, symbolic, and cultural) in order to demonstrate that we need not deconstruct a text through erasure to find differance (and yes that's spelled right, it's a philosophical term to indicate that something is in the state of differing in a similar form, like the same word with a different meaning) and the trace, thereby an objection to the deconstructionist ideals of Derrida. However, at present I'm working on the scholarly review, wherein I explain the uses of all my sources and relate them to my own discussion, and I'm having some trouble translating my notes from a reference book for my last resource. *pants*

The Retanator So is it just you having trouble reading your handwriting? No, I had an idea of what I was thinking when I was writing it down and I'm trying to figure out how to connect the dots. That, or I'm procrastinating.
