"Sounds like an exciting--" The person burst into a coughing fit, falling to the floor and trying in vain to catch themself. The hood and one sleeve was knocked back, revealing a scarred, pitted, and discolored being of questionable species and gender. White wisps of hair clung to their head in patches, and it looked like part of their nose was missing. The coughs came wetly, and the person soon laid still where they had fallen, breathing shallowly.

Ora's brows drew together in concern. "Would you care for some assistance?" She glanced down at the exposed face curious if it was once someone she knew, but didn't find any points of recognition.

The person didn't respond for several moments, gathering the energy to speak. Finally, they swallowed.
"The... 1, 2, 5, 8, 7,9. Code lock key the--" The person paused again for a long moment. "If you can pilot to the atmosphere, the key the auto to that. Uh. 'Then' I mean."

"That can be done." Ora walked over and sat down in the copilot chair. She started up the shuttle with ease, taking it gently into the atmosphere before typing in the key. After letting Auto take over she sat back, setting her tied hands back in her lap.

By this point, the person had finally managed to get up and re-cover themself.
"Thank you... ehm... Do you have a name or designation you'd like to be called by? I know most slaves get re-named, but I'm not that creative." The person shifted uncomfortably as they said this.

"You can call me Ora, if you'd like. It was my first, and will probably be my last as well." Her smile was only half formed before it disappeared from her face.

"Ora..." The person's rasp carried a hint of amusement. "Kia ora? I am... I was Clar Nex. I am OWL, if you know the meaning. Thank you for the autopilot. I don't know if I said that already." The person sat on a bench.

Ora tilted her head in curiosity, the dark waves of her hair flitting to the side. "Be well," She said in a softly amused voice, "no, just Ora."
She shook her head, "I don't know the meaning, and no, you hadn't said it already. However, you are welcome. Well, Clar Nex, how long have you been plagued by this disease of yours?"

((Is that what it means? rofl I just know that it's at the top of every e-mail I get from New Zealand, their native greeting.))
The person coughed. "Few years. Not sure. It hit pretty suddenly, but... Life is distracting. Thought I was just getting old, until the colored patches. It's mycorropa, the New Leprosy. Could have..." the person wheezed. "...got it... anywhere, real...ly..."
They leaned back, then slid down the wall to lie flat on the bench. "Tired. Food in the red fridge 'hind y...ou..."

((Yep. ED's just a fan of google. >.>)).
"Mycorropa?" Ora moved her hand up and played with the green marble pendant around her neck, rolling it between her fingers. "I've seen it in passing, but have never gotten close. I suppose very few people are willing to get close." She glanced back at the fridge. "I'm fasting at the moment, but thank you."

((Lol to that. And... My boyfriend: What?! I never knew cars had lights on the back. *suspicious look* Next thing you know, they'll have lights on the front."))
"Yeah... not contagious. Just nasty. You Jewish?"

(Not contagious? Bah, how boring.)
Ora shook her head, "It's for focus, not religious purposes." She glanced back to the display, overlooking the shuttle controls in curiosity. "Where are we going?"

Xeen and Laurel popped out of the space that wasn't space, and were promptly greeted with inertial force, which forced the rear bulkhead of the cockpit into their backs. Quickly recovering from the impact, Xeen straightened his suit, looking to Ora, than the other person. "I have not intruded, have I?"

((Already said it wasn't, though. Clar was just repeating that for emphasis, because most people wouldn't believe it. Nasty disease. XD))
"Not a--haha--bit. Not a bit," Clar said with faint laughter. "Unless you're part of the Kore, or some other messenger of this Haldis person. Or your female friend, there."

((Still...would have been so much more fun....ah well.)) Ora tilted her head, a blank look crossing her face while her real emotions were hidden behind an illusion. "I'd heard rumors you were still alive, Father. What is it you want?"
