"Ready, 'Donna?" Renekai asked.
Dreydonna bobbed up and down, crackling with electricity.
"Aim..."
The Gastly carefully took position over Frey. She let out a short cackle.
"Fire!" Renekai ordered.
Dreydonna paused. Fire? She thought that this was an electric attack!
"Oh, 'Donna, you know what I mean! ... Thunderbolt!"
She grinned and let the sparks fly.

Frey's luck obviously ran dry for the moment as he was struck head on by that dreadful gastly's Thunderbolt. His muscles cried out in anguish, both at the inability to move and the powerful shock from the thunderbolt.
Sienna bit her lip, and winched. That one must have hurt a lot.
"You're dong fine Frey, only a little bit longer now!" She tried to comfort him, but failed as more rage and hate for the pesky gastly built inside the pidgeotto.

"Another Thunderbolt!"
Dreydonna floated lower, then executed another attack. Things were looking up! The beginning had been a bit scary, but things seemed to be under control now. The Gastly cackled with glee.

This Thunderbolt wasn't as painful as the last, but it still hurt. Frey twitched, trying to break free of the paralysis all the while glaring at cackling the gastly. 'If only looks could kill...and ghosts could die' the pidgeotto thought, still radiating hate at Dreydonna.
"Almost there!" Sienna was still trying to sooth Frey's building rage.

"Okay, one more time. He looks like he's almost free."
Dreydonna nodded, still grinning, then shot down another bolt. She suddenly felt something odd-- pity?-- but it was gone in an instant. Dreydonna hurried to take cover on a tall ice pillar, then looked down to see how much damage her last attack had caused.

"You know what to do! Thief Attack!" Sienna shouted, happy Frey was finally free. It was a pity they couldn't use Mirrormove to paralyze Dreydonna, but she could easily get rid of the paralysis with Haze.
The pidgeotto wasted no time in leaping from the frozen ground, and then speeding through the air. He didn't have time to dodge the thunderbolt, but took the damage anyway. Frey almost slammed into the ice pillar after being blinded by the lightning, but then made a sharp turn to avoid it and went hurtling towards Dreydonna. He aimed carefully at the gastly with sharp talons
((Of course I believe you 8P ! EDIT: Maths were wrong. sorry D8 ))

"Hmm... Things are getting tricky now..." Renekai muttered at Frey's attack. But there was nothing for it but to go on ahead. "Thunderbolt!"
Dreydonna did her best to recover from the attack, then tossed another bolt over.

Another Thunderbolt was fired by the gastly and yet again hit it's mark. Feathers burnt by all the thunderbolt attacks littered the once shiny and clean ice.
"One last time!"
Frey didn't even need to be told and aimed the Thief Attack with the last of his strength at the gastly he now loathed.

"Once more," Renekai said quietly.
As Frey rose, Dreydonna fell, electricity sparking around her. On the impact, she released the energy and spun away. She was too tired to notice if she had caused any damage or not.

Frey dropped down in mid-flight to avoid the cackling beam of electricity, and still managed to delivered the Thief Attack.
"Great job Frey! Finish this with Pursuit!" Sienna shouted and silently hoped their luck would hold out.
Frey flipped his body around to face Dreydonna, and with the very last of his strength flew towards her, aiming to collide with the gastly.

Dreydonna hastily rolled out of the way, just barely making it in time.
"Great job, 'Donna! Now, finish off with a Thunderbolt!"
Dreydonna managed a weak cackle before she let loose the electric attack.

Frey nearly fainted even before the Thunderbolt attack struck. He was just so tired...
The pidgeotto dropped like a stone out of the chilly air when the thunderbolt hit.
Sienna held up Frey's pokeball and returned him to it before his feathered body could land on the ice. "Almost, you were so close that time. Fantastic job, Frey."

Dreydonna grinned weakly, floating over to Renekai and sinking into her outstretched arms. She was so tired... She couldn't even pull a prank right now.
"That was a really close battle," Renekai said, half to herself and half to Sienna. Then, to Dreydonna, "Let's get you to the pokemon center. Into your ball you go!" She lifted Dreydonna's pokeball and smiled once the ghost was safely sucked in. "I'd love to battle you again sometime!" she said, waving goodbye to Sienna.

"It was a close one." Sienna said back to Renekai. "I'd love to battle you again, too" she replied, also waving as she walked on her way to the pokemon center.
