Give those "Band is not a sport" people 10 minutes locked in a small room with 30 angry band kids and we'll just see who changes their perseptive! evil

There is this one football player who is always like 'Well if it werent for the football team you wouldnt have a marching band" and I just promptly reply "If it werent for the marching band you wouldnt have a audience"....but marching band is a sport, it an effort and hardwork to multitask and perform all at once. i very much agree with this statement...the only people who come to our football games are the parents of the band members and the football players...our foot ball team has won one game in the last 2 years...pretty sad huh?

We get half a PE credit every year for marching season during the fall and the 2nd semester counts as fine arts

We get 1 PE credit for every semester of marching band and 1 fine arts credit for every semester of symphonic band. 3nodding

Talee-Chan Trinity_050 our band complained so much that the board finally gave us 1/4 of a credit per quarter that we are in marching band...its not much but its something. that's sortof what we get. We get half a PE credit every year for marching season during the fall and the 2nd semester counts as fine arts We got a varsity letter for one year in marching band than a bar every year after. that was at my high school... i miss high school marching band!!!! crying

Really we can't change people's minds, unless we kidnap them and make them be a part of a marching band, but for now you can just calmly reply. Really we can't change people's minds, unless we kidnap them and make them be a part of a marching band, but for now you can just calmly reply. It's just a sterotype that band geeks are dorky and unatheltic. I would like to do that, the kidnapping. It would be hillairious to try to get the jocky preppy people learning how to play an instument and sending them off to hell i mean band camp. Hahahaha. Something like the black ops. *Female prep walking with other female prep. "Oh those band nerds are at it again," said female prep one to female prep two. "God. I swear always practicing." "They act like it's a sport." Suddenly black ninjas come out from the ceiling, kidnap female prep one . . . Moments later female prep one wakes . . . in full band uniform with a snare drum hooked up to her . . . she looks around to see she's in the middle of a band field.8 Black ninja marching band you may take the feild for compotiton! lol i'd join that band
