When I was little I had always wanted to play the clarinet. But now I play good ol' Dr. Saxophonapus. After a year of playing the saxophone, I wanted to play the Bassoon. It makes such a funny sound!! whee But I didn't get the chance. crying So now ElBobo Orville WaterlooOuthouse III and I are the best saxophones in my section! (ElBobo Orville WaterlooOuthouse III is the real name of my saxophone and Dr. Sxophonapus is it's nickname.)

ClarinetGoddess The weird thing is I never wanted to play clarinet. But now I love it<3 But I would like to try flute and oboe. I kind of tried oboe, but only the reed, and they are awsome. Flutes, the people tend to be snooty in whatever band I join, weird but I don't know why(I don't want to say they are all snooty, because they aren't. Just some of them) But my directors have never let me try. I might get to play oboe this concert season though, which would be awesome, but he is still deciding whether he needs my "strength" on clarinet. Apparently, i m better at the clarinet then I thought, because he still hasn't decided... im a flute. my section leader is really snooty. some are really stupid, and the other half of the section are really nice and sweet.
and i've wanted to be a tuba since my first day of band camp freshman year. i picked the flute because 1) i already had one and a piccolo (plus like 3 clarinets, some saxophones, a pair of drumsticks...) 2) the choices for my middle school band were pretty slim, and 3) it's pretty low maintenance (no reeds, valve oil... they do need to be fixed like every year though.) and i'm not a big fan of soprano flutes (but i love my two babies: amorette and ophelia) and i want to switch to bass flute but my band director's a b***h and is rather prejudiced against flutes doing anything (despite being a flute major herself) so she wouldn't let me. even for concert band. she was like "you're so stupid, there aren't any bass flutes in concert band...". okay, so if not concert band, when DO you play one? eh, eh? she won't even let us join jazz band. okay, i KNOW there were some flutes in the jazz era. i watched a movie about it in 8th grade. 3nodding sorry for the rant.

when I was 4 I really really really REALLY wanted to learn harp. I went to the first lesson and the teacher kicked me out after 5 minutes because I was too young to have a long enough attention span. Then I went to piano (which I looooove and have been playing for 12 years) and in 4th grade I started playing horn in band. I'd never quit horn and piano, but I would love to learn harp. I took a course of it at the band camp I went too and loved it. It was difficult, but fun.

I've always really wanted to learn to play the harp, and the bag pipes. Of course, though, I love the bassoon with all of my heart and that's what I'm on now.

- Alto Saxophone. [I'll play that one day. x3] - Bass Trombone [I play Tenor, but I'm sick of it, becaue Tenors go higher than Tubas. And Bass trombone would be good because I'm good at low notes + Tuba.] - Alto Clarinet - Bassoon - Contrabassoon - Alto Flute [I hope to get one soon for Jazz band. :3] cardsakura_chan: If she sees you a really good Flute player, she might not want you to change. What grade are you in? If your starting, then of course she isn't gonna let you change, but you can always learn on your own, you know. Plus, Bass is heavier. You should try Tuba, it's really fun, but you might have a hard time with the clefs. [I play Flute + Tuba]

I'm a flautist, and my dream instrument is the trumpet. I currently own a trumpet (Well, I'm "borrowing" it, but I hope to inherit it from my aunt someday), but I'm currently horrible at it D: I can only do low E, F, and G crying
I'm starting to think that clarinets are pretty interesting, though I'm still aiming for trumpet for now since I don't have a clarinet xDDD~
Oh! And before trumpet I wanted to do marching snare, but then I'd have to sacrifice my beloved cymbals sooooo eh nothx :3

The instrument I play now, my one and only baby, my trombone. I've tried palying flute before and I just didn't enjoy it but ever since I've picked up my first trombone I've found a much deeper passion for music. I also love the piano and sometime in the near future I really want to play trumpet, but my trombone comes first.
