yeah... but they are makeing it work on the psp, and to be frank I was just happy to know they got all the right voice actors and that they sounded wonderful!

yeah, I failed to mentioned that a few days ago I finnally managed to beat the game! (and now currently getting addicted to metal gear ac!d) so I guess it is time for my compete review!

for any shirow masamune fans... buy this now...

for any GITS fans.... you will not be disapointed..

for any fps fans... I'd say it's the best one out there on the psp

for any tachikoma fans.... you will pee your pants at least 3 times in the first 15 seconds of owning this game... (oh yeah.... crap crap crap![/inside joke])

the game is at first glance a typical fps. you have escort missions boss fights and plenty for guns to chose from. but for playing on a portable I felt the game handeled rather well, it kept me guessing and trying to out beat my tachikoma in kills. there are close to no physics in it so don't expect any bodies flying...at all the enemy AI isn't terribly smart but that doesn't mean they don't challenge you. your tachikoma AI however it's relitivly smart... but it has a personalty (really) of it's own so you might never know what it is going to do next.. otherall, it's still fun to play as batou with his m9 mowing down all the enemy's in my way..

it took me a while to understand the controls but once I did I had little to no problems with it.. it doesn't make switching weapions easy but most of the time I stick to one type of wepion so that doesn't bother me.

the game deffently felt like shirow masamune was involved. the story line is very good (still haven't understood it). the game doesn't stop at letting you pick between Motoko, Batou, togusa,saito or letting you have a tachikoma as backup AND letting you customise it AND let you hop in it whenever you feel like it. it also has many things from Shirow masamune's other work such as the landmates from appleseed and the old fuchikomas from the first movie. all so much that made me happy to own the game.

the music was wonderful, especaily on the end boss fight and the tachikoma momments. they had all the same voice acting from the same people who did GITS so no one sounds wierd.

the game has a ton of replay value as for I still have to replay all the missions with the other 3 people! and there is unlockable minigame when you beat the game. and then there is the multiplayer.... which I have not had the luxery to useing. (everyone is too poor! sad )

overall, as a psp game I would say it's an average game, nothing bad just nothing terribly groundbreaking or amasing. as for an GITS game I'd say it is perfict. I consider this is a first step to getting good anime based games!

all im saying is that it better be better than the PS2 one....

more people need to get a psp!

what do people think of tachikoma a go go?? i love it, its so cute!

that person was an anti-handheld bigot, seriously, one should realise that fps's on comp are gonna be way better than on console or handheld(with the exception of battlefront 2, on psp, great, love it, on ps2, great love it, on pc, shite! but battlefront 1 was brilliant on pc, i dont know why...-, and therefore, one should look at the games through the prism of their capabilities. as we know from practical experience, the psp has the capabilities to run like a ps2, but the screen is just way too small, so why do people complain about the graphics? the only way to improve them is eother make the screens bigger or make the pixels smaller(which i'd prefer.)

also, i must say that i think batou looked very close considering the 3d-ness and all(though not the major... way wrong there...)

but his hatred of tachikoma a go go was EVIL!!! as evil as kusanagi when she odered the tachikomas be taken to the lab...

well, im one of the people who can get out the gameboy and still play space invaders for hours... so yeah, i llove it! 3nodding
