`He smirked in return.` People call me.. Banpaia. `He licked his lips and took another slow sip of the red wine. Then speaking again, the whole conversation with you, his vioce has been drawn out, with an almost bored or frustrated quality to it.` What brings you here? `His hands in his pocket would ruffle a little, his head turning to face you, his eyes examining your form.`

Tasuki raised an eyebrow at his tone, and was beginning to get annoyed. He didn't really talk often. Truth was he was never a people person, and he didn't handle arguments to well either. And Banpaia was slightly getting to him. 'Same as everyone else I guess.' His tone seemed much more frank and uninterested as he noticed the man looking him over. 'Boredom I suppose, and a business trip.' His tone was more polite as he said business trip. He still remembered his payment and had once again felt content. He had a hard time concentrating on anything but the large crowd and the ref as he announced a tournament. Whats this? He listened and thought about it for a moment or so.

Thinking about joining? `He took another long sip of wine.` You should, it would be fun... Id enjoy fighting you... Red hair... A fire element I presume? Mid ranged fighter? `He would smile and gaze over at you again, avoiding eye contact, his left hand coming out of his pocket.` Athletic build, you dont look half bad. `He would set down his wine glass and the female waitress, face hidden, would quickly and silently replace it.`

¢The man in the middle of the arena announced one more time. He was getting some signals from something... Something familiar... He looked over to Banpai as the hair on the back of his neck stood on end, but he continued without much of a wavering in his voice.¢
"One last chance folks. Who wants to try at the chance to have an all expense paid trip on the S.S. Explorer. Normally you'd have to either pay a sizeable fee or else do work aboard the ship. Hurry hurry folks, time's a tickin'..."
¢The voice told the man that it was a mental reader - he was capable of reading the minds of others. Even if only to a small extent, but they were hardly ever capable of physical strength because they focused all their energy on their minds. If you could quickly predict the potential movement of your opponent's next attack though, who needed a hell of a lot of brute strength?
Yet it was never any good if you couldn't come up with a plan to actually take down the one with brute strength, or at least outlast them.¢

¢The man grinned deviously, extremely happy that someone had taken him up on his offer. Tiger bounded up on top of a table and quickly flew into the air, catching the glass in his mouth as he gracefully spun in circles, the wine staying in place due to centrifugal force as he looked like a shark or fish flying through the air. When he landed in a heap, he quickly took a huge swig of the wine glass, draining it for all it was worth as though he had an addiction.¢"Anybody else - we have two more slots open!!?"SoulLess316 `He would smile and raise his hand, reaching back all the way, and throwing his wine glass at the announcer, Most of the wine falls out on the way there, but whats left is a fine mist.` Im in.

Tasuki smirked and glanced at him his red eyes seemed to look him over for a moment wishing he could figure out what body type he might have. He was hidden under that jacket of his. He gave a slight nod 'I am fire demon, yes.' What is the S.S. explorer? He stood up from the counter as Banpaia made his way to the ring. 'Heh.' He was slightly amused, and wonder how far he would make it, but he was now interested in the ship and so placing a hand into his pocket he made his way to the door and pushed it open walking out onto the street. I wonder why it costs so much? This intrigued him. Tasuki made his way to the port to see the ship. It must be huge, or there is something important about it.. His mind wandered as he walked, he slowed as he came to the docks and stood for a moment as he scanned over the ships that were docked. He spotted a rather large ship and started heading towards it. That is pretty impressive. He came to the ramp and looked up at the ship, he placed his hand over his eyes as to shield them from the bright sun that was beginning to set.

Link had swigged down the rest of his jin and tossed the bottle aside. 'Hey there pretty lady.' His words slurred as he spoke. He leaned on the man and began to grab his tush. 'Your one sexy..' His words were cut off as the man delivered a severe punch to his face sending him spiraling. 'Ouch.' He rubbed his chin and tried to get up but found himself heading down the ramp from the ship he was on and onto the port. 'That was weird.' He smiled though there was nothing to really smile about. He scanned the crowd and laughed occasionally amused by something. 'That women was pretty mean, don't you think?' He patted a large stump that was leaning on a few barrels. The truth was Link wasn't one to make to much a fool out of himself. But when he came to jin and him, he made a complete a** out of himself. He didn't drink much, but he was down in the gutter. He wanted to drink his problems away. The Captain had talked to him last night before he went off to sleep with the rest of the crew. He told him that he no longer needed his services and that they would be dropping him off at the next port. It didn't matter that he knew not a single soul there, or if he could find a way back home. Nope that b*****d of a Captain couldn't give a rat's a**. Link stood and flicked off the Captain as he walked out and stared down at Link. 'Screw you!' He walked off stumbling occasionally. He knew the Captain was just worried about being over thrown. The boys seemed to take a liking to Link, and it must have threatened him. So Link made his way along the port trying to stay steady. His stomach was tossing. He grabbed it and leaned against a wall...or what he thought was a wall. He looked up and saw a man. He was slender and tall with an athletic build to him. His hair red and also his eyes. They seemed to look as if they were irritated maybe..like he needed drops. He thought that was kind of funny, but then he noticed the man's markings. He had ran into a few of his kind before. He was a fire demon. One thing he knew about them was that they tended to be fueled by their power to control fire. In other words the element seemed to control their moods. They tended to be a passionate, out spoken, and not to mention a stubborn kind. But he didn't want to stereotype the man. 'Hey, hows it going.' He laughed slightly at the man's glare.

`He smiled and stood up from his seat, watching Tasuki leave. He couldent help but start to follow after, sniffing the air to get the scent of his blood. He, before wandering out of the doors himself, would turn to face the bar, and quickly lean on it. Tasuki already heading twords the docks.` Hey John, Fetch me the usual, Vinegar, Salt, maybe some of that Cajun stuff while your at it. `The cook would smile, entranced, almost enthralled, in what seemed to be a new found joy from this order. The new concaucation would be placed quickly on the counter, and the crowd that had dissipated earlier would re-assemble. The male, fox anthro would lean over the table and look at The man with the order.` So `The anthro would lick his lips.` Whats the occasion tonight? `Banpaia, seeming much taller now, would swipe up the elixir and pop the cork off, whiffing it and offering a displeased gonk. He would then blow into the awfully stenchful mixture and recap it. No one around him seemed to mind the smell.` Your completely oblivious, as always. `He would stuff the beaker containing the mixture into his pocket and walk up to the fighting-arena-type thing. Jumping over and into the arena where he would lean up against the corner post. John, apparently the waiter, although that was his real name as much as mac was, would look over at him with a look that just wreaked of disappointment with the answer. Just screaming "Come back here you b***h"... Of course, not saying that out loud.` So, When I win, where does this ship take me?

His salesman pitch was spot on, and he was as loud as a foghorn.¢‼"Well now, the name should imply it all my good man!"‼¢He slammed Banpaia on the back with a tough, sturdy hand. Obviously worn from other labors.¢‼"This ship is a luxury cruise liner that also functions as an explorer ship. It'll be going to many different lands over the course of many years. It's the greatest undertaking since before Town Square was first discovered!! Just think of the history this may make if it succeeds!!! Everybody is needed - but only some can go!"‼¢The man's mood just seemed to radiate with pleasure at how much this venture could potentially benefit everywhere. It was up to those who came with, and those who went to begin with, to make sure that things happened in a correct way. It was going to be a major undertaking, that indeed. Definitely an adventure for the history books, at the least.¢‼"After all, what would we do without any people here? There must always be a home."

In other words the element seemed to control their moods. They tended to be a passionate, out spoken, and not to mention a stubborn kind. But he didn't want to stereotype the man. 'Hey, hows it going.' He laughed slightly at the man's glare.
☼The young man on top of the ship sensed two new arrivals, and he knew exactly who they were and what kind of a help they could be on this journey. It almost made him cry. What they were doing. Was it his doing or would it have happened anyway? Was his interference crucial or was it unnecessary? He felt so damned confused.☼"Yo!"☼He called out to the two below the deck (it's possible they wouldn't have known he was talking to them, or they might've known - who knows?) he leaned on as his hair waved in the randomly occuring breeze, his hands resting on the guard-rail in a triangle fashion. He looked so tired up there. He just seemed to radiate it.
At first the young man jumped up and onto the wooden guard rail - looking like he was about to take a plunge off the edge, but then he brought his right hand to his chin and scratched it slightly, before pivoting on his left heel and starting to walk across the rail, jumping back to the deck, and quickly running down the gangplank before anymore people came by carrying things.
He felt so awfully confused. Was it alright to use the demon's power - was it really their power to begin with? Was it wrong to use it? It made him breathe heavily and hold his head with his right hand as he walked down, his eyes clenched tightly. When he approached the two men, he'd look up with the most tired expression ever, but he still seemed to have energy, but his very visage seemed to make one feel the exhaustion that leaked from him at this point.
People always asked so much of him. And to make it worse he asked a lot from himself too. He had to make up for all the time that was lost. And he had to make up for any shortcomings he might have. He had to be strong - he couldn't be weak. It was inexcusable and he'd get nowhere with weakness.
All in all, he looked so burdened, but looked like he was trying to hold strong.☼"Hey there, what brings you two to the S.S. Explorer, huh? Come to join the mission?"☼Mission was the only word he could think of for it.☼((Please tell me if this is easy to read, and whether or not you have a hard time catching this.))

Tasuki grabbed the man's hand and pulled it aside and almost laughed as he stumbled forward. 'Watch who you lean on..' He looked up from the man as someone called out to them. He watched as he made his way to them. He raised an eyebrow as he mentioned a mission. 'What is the mission..and maybe I will be interested.' He smirked as he crossed his arms and glanced over at the drunken fool who walked up beside them. He occasionally looked at the ship..even if the mission wasn't great it might be interesting to catch a ride with it..he could always ditch it later if it wasn't to his liking. Lets hope this was worth my time.

Link was took off balance as Tasuki pulled his hand. He stumbled forward a rack of barrels catching him. He laughed and turned noticing the new arrival. 'Hey there.' He patted the man's back and smiled, his breath reeking of alcohol. 'You look really tired man..you should rest with us.' He leaned his head on the man's shoulder. 'I need a mission..I am on it!' He yelled in his ear. At the back of his mind he was beginning to clear and wished he could control his mouth, but things seemed to be slipping through.

He leaned his head on the man's shoulder. 'I need a mission..I am on it!' He yelled in his ear. At the back of his mind he was beginning to clear and wished he could control his mouth, but things seemed to be slipping through. ☼The young man looked slightly amused by the fiery-haired demon's and drunken man's antics. He definitely was amused, but he also couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor man; couldn't help but wonder why he might be so drunk in the first place. He smiled lightly at the old man's concern, but couldn't help but try not to wince at the breath. He did wince slightly, but controlled himself for the most part.☼"I am really tired - I could use a nap."☼He admitted and suggested usefully.☼"And it's a mission of exploration as well as defense. We're going to try and map out outlying regions and help in any way we can, and maybe gain some favor for it too."☼In the boy's mind, he just wanted some recognition - some acknowledgement. He wanted people to like him. Even for all his faults which he kept trying to drown.☼"If you're willing to help you have free passage. But you have to make sure to do your share of the work, whatever that might consist of."☼He couldn't help but smile perversely at some more 'mature' missions. It was mostly just his imagination hoping, and yet at the same time he really was starting to lose his old perverted way. Was it for the better?
He didn't show much knowledge about what Tasuki was thinking, but really, he sensed the emotion leaking off of him. He logged it for future reference - he might also have to keep an eye on him.☼"So what are both your names - I'll get you officially set up. We could use all the help and abilities and strength we can get. We'll be going to many places - if you thought Neko Forest was a dangerous forest, you'll be surprised by some of the things we'll have to face."☼Truth be told, Neko Forest was dangerous. And is. He knew some of the areas they'd be going to, but he only had a vague outline of them in his head. They were extremely foggy when he looked at them from the other side. He still couldn't help but wonder if this was for the best, or if it would lead to something extremely important - for the worst or for the best. He felt so confused, but he wouldn't let on - it just showed itself in the form of exhaustion over time, among other things.☼"Do you want to join? It'll be fun."☼He stated the last part with assurance. He knew for a fact this would be fun in all sorts of ways, and he knew he could try to change some people - he felt - for the better while here, even though there really wasn't much more he needed to change, if anything at all. His motives were simple, but many.☼
