If you want to test your hebrew you may make a conversation in hebrew with someone who knows hebrew. But first: what is the most urgent thing for you - reading, talking or writing in hebrew? each of these require diffrent practicing (it's that way in any language) so you first need to decide what is your priority.

I would like the record to show that he kept bumping again and again, and the moment we showed up to help...
... he vanished.

He did suddenly seem a bit absent. I think I should be stricken from the guild if he doesn't post again in 24 hours. And someone get rid of those ghastly bumps!!
Okay, Tachi. Would you actually like help with your English? I'm more than happy to help. smile

Isn't there a joke that goes...
A man asks a Jewish friend about learning some Hebrew.
"What do you need to learn Hebrew for?" says the Jewish friend.
The man replies, "I'm going to visit Israel."
The Jew then says, "Israel? I guess you won't be needing to know how to say 'please', 'excuse me' or 'thank you'."

The first thing this person needs to learn is how to spell the word 'Hebrew'.
(I'm not trying to sound mean, but it's true.)
