Lovebeam gave a solemn nod "Though there is nothing to be done now..." the sound of regret hidhung in her voice. The white mare then smiled approvingly at first as Vib spoke then understanding as the bitterness and anger crept back into her dear friend's voice. "It's alright." she said softly to her friend trying to quell his hurt emotions.
She flicked her tail sparkling tail and glanced outside the storm seemed to have calmed a little, that's good... the sunset mare thought briefly.
Lovebeam was glad he smiled, actually smiled and his smile was a happy one most likely the first in many months. The mare smiled back happily "Vib?" she asked as he suddenly stared off into space though that passed quickly as he grinned back at her.
Chuckling she shook her head "I beg to differ my dear friend." she said unable to hide her amusement. Lovebeam nudged Vib back in a playful manner "Right and now tell me how it pays to be childish?" she inquired her brow raised.

He shook his head slightly "it's not alright, it was rude and wrong." He shook his head again and flicked his bright tri-toned tail flicked back and forth. The regret in her own voice made him lean closer and drape his head over her neck.
He was starring into space again, his ears swinging lazily. He didn't know what his mind was trying to picture because the images were fuzzy and jumbled but he did know what his subconscious mind was attempting to tell him.
His ears flicked back when he heard her speak again and he leaned back away cocking his head. He frowned slightly as he thought about it, "It pays because one can't always run around being serious ... it hardens you .. makes you cold." He frowned slightly again then chuckled "otherwise, it's just fun to be childish sometimes."
He eyed the cave entrance, it did seem to be calming down outside, maybe the storm would end soon, he suddenly wanted to go for a walk.

Lovebeam closed her eyes as Vib lay his neck over her own. It was a strange sensation she didn't quite grasp but somehow it made her feel better and she accepted it. "Thank you" She whispered before opening her eyes as he pulled away.
The white mare smiled "And so it does." she chuckled with Vib.
Lovebeam sensed his sudden anxiousness to be outside "The storm will soon pass then shall we walk?"
