To add to the tactics, as an infected...Stand on top or behind the witch so the survivors will be tricked into shooting you, but might actually hit the witch as well. Works 80% of the time.

If a tank knocks an ally to the ground and is pummeling them, you can quickly run up to the tank's back and give it a good melee whack to save them. However, the tank will then chase you, giving your other allies an opportunity to revive the fallen teammate.
