Ama's pink eyes followed the cub as she took her leave, making her way over bumps and logs, disappearing down the path. Amalahle had switched her own direction, seeing the "light at the end of the tunnel" just ahead of her. Amalahle felt very relieved. Finally, she was alone again. AND she was about to get out of that stupid forest, or whatever the heck it was...
Well, she had been in a bad mood, then a worse mood, then an even WORSE mood, and then a slightly-calmer bad mood. It had been one of those days. She wasn't particularly disinclined to meeting new people, especially if she had come to some kind of terms with the person during their conversation. But even if they had some things in common; even if they were a bit the same and had gotten along just slightly near the end...Ama was glad to be away from that girl.
She hated cubs.
Leaping over one last log, the adolescent was out of the woods and out in an open field.
