"Ginger, Zemel, wait up!" The call could be heard half-way across the park as the girl ran after two little kids. Nataya's hair, for once, didn't have its beads in it, and hung in long purple waves, almost touching the ground. She was wrapped up in a lilac-colored fleece poncho, which was serving as a coat. Her purple sketchers slapped against the sidewalk as she chased after her younger siblings. Why was it every time she was in charge of a younger sibling, they ran off? Atleast she could still see them...
The two twins ran, hand and hand, down the sidewalk, looking at everything. They didn't even realize that they'd ditched their older sister; they were too busy inspecting the new lights and decorations. That is, until they saw a group of new people. The two stopped, well, Zemel stopped and pulled Ginger back.
Ginger blinked as she was pulled back, then looked to the people. Showing no regard what so ever to the fact that they might be having a conversation, she waved. "Hi!" she greeted, grinning up at the large people.
"Ginger! Mommy said no talk to strangers!" Zemel said, nudging his sister. He looked back, expecting Nataya to be there to give them the okay to talk to these people, but she wasn't there. He frowned, seeing her a ways back. What was she doing back there? He then looked back to the new big people, stepping back and pulling Ginger with him. Better safe than sorry.

"Twins!" Shade said, distracted. "Hi, guys and--" he turned, his eyes roaming over the crowd and catching sight of Nataya. "That's Nat from my gym class," he told them. "Is she your big sister? She's one of my students, you know." Whether they showed up or not, he tended to look over the faces in the classroom log and remember their names. At least, when they were at the child stage.
"I rather like math," Antony admitted. "And chemistry. Although I swear some of the class goes out of their way to make things explode."

"Yup, she's our bigger big sister." Gigner said, smiling up at the adult. Her eyes widened slightly. "You one of Nat-ya's teachers?" she asked, amazed. That meant he must go to that big building, too! And teachers knew everything, right?
Zemel looked up at Shade, nodding. Maybe this guy wasn't a stranger; after all, he seemed to know their big sister. "Hullo," he greeted quietly, waving to the grown-up. Okay, so this one wasn't that much a stranger, but what of the other big people?
Nataya stopped behind the twins, sighing slightly. "Don't run off like that, you two." she said calmly, which was probably the closest to reprimanding them she'd get. She then looked up, smiling slightly. "Hello, Mr. Shade."

Thali was determined to get Joshua to come out of his shell. The three year old was excessively shy towards new people. 'Well,' Thali thought, trying to look on the bright side, 'At least I won't have to tell him to be careful around strangers.'
She smiled as she spotted the twins bright blonde mops of hair. "There," She said, looking down at Joshua. "I told you they'd be here." Joshua smiled and ran to meet the friends he'd met at the park.
"Hi!" He said, and then looked up at the adult. He thought he should be polite, so he forced a smile. "Hello," He added. He looked around. His mother had told him about Zemel and Ginger's sister. She could make dustbunnies! He wanted to meet her.

It was a well-known fact of the universe that things came in threes. Especially when they were things of mayhem. So, to anyone watching from above or outside, it would have seemed only natural when a certain golden-haired wolf-boy snuck up behind the gathering group in extreme silence.
Then, suddenly, with a laugh, he darted around Shade and behind Antony, throwing his hands over his friend's eyes. "Hey, man!" Apparently, however, he forgot the "guess who?" part when faced with new people and he lowered his hands, momentarily hugging (or strangling?) Antony around the neck before drawing back. "Hey, was there a school trip I didn't know about?" he asked. Looking around, he squinted golden eyes as he tried to recognize faces. Giving up, he lifted his hand to wave. "Hey, guys! I'm Ignacio Garcia."

Antony's reaction to that jumping probably shocked several people. He laughed, turning and grinning at the other teen. "Tell me, Iggy, has someone given you hot chocolate?" he asked, "Or coffee, perhaps? Not that I could blame them, it's freezing out here."
"I am," Shade told Ginger with a grin. "And I expect I'll be one of your teachers in the future. How are you, Nataya? Having fun?"

"Cool!" Ginger said, giggling and clapping her hands. She knew one of her future teachers! To her, that was an awesome thing. She looked up at the blonde headed boy, offering a cheerful "Hi!" before smiling and waving to Josh. "Hi, Josh!" She exclaimed, giggling. Someone was definately happy to see their friend.
"Hullo, Josh." Zemel said, smiling slightly at his friend. Atleast there was a familiar face here! That definately the atmosphere a bit more...comfortable. He looked up at the new tall person, waving slightly. Another stranger? How many were there now? Well, big sister was there now, so it was all good.
Natay smiled back. "I'm fine, thank you. How are you doing?" she said, her tone holding a hint of a laugh. "I'm having lots of fun! There are so many lights here to look at." She glanced over at Ignacio, shooting a smile his way. He seemed nice! Then again, so did everyone else there in her perspective.

Josh smiled at Ginger, "Where's your sister?" He asked, looking around. He saw several tall people, but they didn't seem to notice him. And for that he was sort of relieved. Sort of. "What you doing?" He asked. "Are friends here?" He looked around again. He didn't see anyone who looked like Zemel or Ginger's friend. Not that you can tell by looking at people..
Thali caught up with Joshua fairly easily. "Hi you two," She said to the twins smiling.

Ginger grinned, pointing up to the girl with purple fairy wings. "That big sister." she said, grinning. "We see pretty lights! And yes, friend here!" she said, pointing to him. "What you doing here? See lights too?" she asked, curious.
Zemel smiled, waving to Joshua's mommy before wandering off around the group of people, curious about these new tall ones. There was a boy with wings like Nataya, only different, a scary looking girl, a blue-haired boy, a pretty girl with a halo...so many people in one place!

Carlisle looked down at the huge wave of small children and smiled uncertainly. He pulled one hand out of his pocket and waved a little before promptly shoving it back in. "Nice to meet you," he said politely, eyes big as moons at either Ignacio or Antony's reaction to such. With a smile, he added, "Hi, Nataya. How are your Christmas cards coming?"

Josh giggled at Ginger's comment. "Lights pretty." He said smiling. "Mommy says they're..." He muttered a word, "Lights."
Joshua looked up at Nataya and Carlisle. "Hi!" He said, smiling up at the girl. "You have dust bunnies? Mommy said you do." He nodded to himself. "I Josh." He added as an after thought. He looked up at Carlisle. "Cool!" He pointed to the boy's halo-timeish thing.

"Hot chocolate," Ignacio grinned at his friend. "There's a stand over by Santa's Workshop where you can buy it. Dad gave me some money to treat people so..." He trailed off and promptly sank into a crouch near the smaller kids. His brightly colored scarf dragged on the ground but he took no notice of it, instead bracing his hands on his bent knees. His coat gaped open to show his usual t-shirt and jeans. "Which means I probably have enough for all of you guys. If your moms an' sisters say it's okay, that is. Who wants hot chocolate?"

Nataya smiled brightly, looking at him. "Hello, Carlisle. They're coming along nicely. I only have a few more to do." she said, her tone light. "How's your collage coming along?" She blinked as one of the younger kids started talking to her, smiling slightly. "Hello, Josh. I'm Nataya." she said, giggling. Little ones were so cute! She then nodded. "Yes, I have dustbunnies..." How on Earth would he know that? Or his mother for that matter? Then again, Momma might have met him and his parental while she was in school.
Zemel smiled slightly at the halo-girl (in his perspective) and waved back. "Hullo." he said quietly, his gaze looking at the halo. "Pretty....you an angle?" he asked, mispronouncing the word "angel".
Ginger smiled brightly, waving enthusiastically to the boy who'd waved to her and the other littler kids. She then looked to Josh, grinning. "Got lots of dustbunnies! Jump all around the house!" She then looked up at the tall blonde boy, raising her hand and jumping. "I want hot chock'late!" she said, grinning from ear to ear. Hot chocolate was yummy!

"God," said Mia, to nobody in particular, "well, at least I know that this proves my biological clock dead."
Casca had been watching the proceedings, not quite sure how to handle kids himself -- the Maker twins had gone from small to child-sized in the blink of an eye, after all -- and standing next to Carlisle, finishing his coffee in slightly awkward silence. He too looked at the dark-haired boy, with a raised and ridged brow: "An angel, huh, mon ami?" he said. "Hark! the herald angels sing, and all that."
And, hey, Antony apparently had a boyfriend? Who'd have thought. The wolf boy didn't really look his type, though, kind of like a cute twinky blonde trophy-award.

"The least I can do is help pay for it," Shade said to Iggy, handing Antony a credit card. "Go help him get everyone some hot chocolate, kid," he said. "And another one for me, I finished mine already."
Antony didn't seem too bothered by the order, and pocketed the card. "Okay," he said. "Let's go get--" He counted silently. "Some hot chocolate."
