((Sousou, I'm very awake...^^;; Nobu is fast asleep though. I went next door to check, lazy bum. -_-; I should put Rufus in his apartment just to drive him crazy^^ *we live side by side* Oh well, nothing to do but Gaia! woot!^^))

The hospital was a faded white, the walls seeming almost as sick as it's patients...There were sections of the building which were being rebuilt from the damage caused in Diamond Weapon's attack, and it sent shivers up his spine to think of what it was like for anyone in the building during that time. He followed the employee in front of him, keeping up fairly well, but his eyes tended to wander, and as they did, he found himself lagging behind and having to run slightly to catch up.

Finally the attendant stopped, turning to face Marlute, but the wide-eyed youth was too busy observing his surroundings, and ran straight into his host.
"Oh! Um...sorry....!" Marlute managed to say as he quickly oriented himself. "So..this is it...?" He asked, not quite sure of what to do or say.

The messenger nodded impatiently, obviously annoyed,"Yes, Tseng and President Rufus are already inside." He then quickly adjusted his suit and walked away, leaving Marlute alone in the hallway.

It took him a few good minutes to finally get up the courage to walk in...He had attempted several times to hold a mock conversation with one of the walls, but found each time to be rather frustrating, as he wasn't sure how either of his superiors would react. It seemed like an eternity, but, his heart pounding in his chest, he walked inside the room, stopping to bow when he neared the bed where Rufus lay.
"Please excuse me, Marlute of the Turks, reporting for duty." He said, his head still bowed low. Reporting for duty...? What the hell was i thinking?? That sounds so lame....!' If he had been able to show it, Marlute, at that point, would have probably been slapping himself. Instead he absent mindedly scolded himself on the inside, but hoped his embarrasment went unnoticed.

((xD Tseng: What are you doing in my apartment?

Rufus: o.o; I don't know, I woke up here..

Marlute: *hides in a bush and watches through the window with binoculars* Tee hee ^.^

Tseng: ... Oh... Well.... Since you're here... >.>))


After instucting one of the nurses to reposition his bed, Rufus turned his attention to Marlute when he came in. The upper part of the bed moving up by the controls on the side by the nurse, so that he was now sitting up at least. And able to see them all. Sitting up, or laying down, he was going to be in pain regardless, so Rufus tried to ignore it, and kept his eyes on Marlute. "You were the new Turk.. hired before the attack.. You'll have to excuse me.. for meeting you under such.. circumstances.." Light hues caught a glimpse of another in the room.. He didn't remember sending for SOLDIER.. Regardless, they would be gathered once things were running smoothly anyway so he didn't mind it much..

((XD I can make up stories like those all night.. xD I had to keep my friend awake for two hours once, so I told him a story.. Most random thing I ever thought of: Neji and Haku's Sexy Adventures... I don't even remember half of it, but I know it was good.))


Lips turned up in a smirk, nodding his head to Marlute's words, before turning to address the two.
"As it is more than clear, during my absence... The Shin-Ra Company has fallen to an abysmal low... I'm as astonished as probably you all are.. that there is anything left of this company after it's downfall..." Rufus paused for a moment, looking at each of them before he continued, including Zeren in the back. "We will be rebuilding the Shin-Ra Company... Our goals, however... Will be different than in the past."

"We are the ones responsible for putting the planet in it's current pathetic state, it is our responsibility to reverse the damage we have caused.."
Obviously Rufus had already thought about this a lot.. He already had plans and ambitions for the future.. However it was probably hard for the others to believe Rufus actually wanted to do something 'good' for the people.. And the planet...

Meanwhile, Reno and the messenger that guided him had just arrived at the hospital building and disembarked from the copter. "Wow, talk about being in shambles.." The redhead said as he looked at the side of the hospital that was being worked on as the two approached the building. "So you're sure that the President is here, yo?" He said as he followed the man in and through the hall.

Finally they reached the wing where Rufus was being kept and the messenger stopped, pointing out the room to Reno. "In there." He said as he stood by the wall and crossed his arms. "Thanks..." Reno replied before turning and walking down the hall to the room. As he got closer, he could hear familiar voices. The look on his face brightening up a little, Reno ran towards the room. "Hey guys!! I-" Unable to stop himself, the redhead slid right past the room and into a pile of boxes that were set up to go into storage.

The sound of the screaming red head could be heard in their room as well. Looking to the door and expecting the loud mouthed Turk to show up any minute with an enthusiastic smile, all Rufus heard was a sudden skidding and yelling past the door and the colision that soon came after it.. Reno and his antics, Rufus just looked at the door with the exact expression of '....wtf' before he just shook his head.. "Maybe I shouldn't have sent for him as well..." Of course he wasn't serious though.. Rufus' dry sarcasm being his only form of humor.. But everyone knew even with Reno's stupidity he was still a damn good Turk.
