"Hm? Is what?" Amira examined the rock with an annoyed look. Not at Fyja, really, she was just generally frustrated. Finding the perfect please-don't-kill-us present had proved harder than expected. "Oooh. I think so, maybe. Would this make you want to not kill someone?"

Fyja gave Amira a look that said clearly 'I wouldn't want to kill anyone anyways so...' But yes, he supposed. If nothing else it might distract this crazy lion. Or they could toss it at her and stun her to get away. He nosed the stone over to Amira and then shuffled uncomfortably. "You want...me to go with you?" Somehow he thought that this one time he could be excused from his family...keeping a little girl safe was important, and he was worried.

"Oh, uh, right." Amira smiled bashfully and bopped herself on the head with her paw, sticking her tongue out in a 'my bad' look. It was a silly question to ask someone like Fyja. One more look at the stone and she knew it'd be plenty good enough to sooth her aunt's temper.
"Hm? Oh, nah! I don't want her to feel crowded or anything. Besides, you're not suppose to wander away from your family so young or they'll get worried. Grandma told me so." Nevermind the fact she'd done just that herself. Twice. "If you want to go somewhere why don't you ask them to visit my pride? You'll have to go through the Nchi to get there but they're really friendly, too."

Fyja nodded and nosed the geode (for that was what it was, and not really a rock at all) towards Amira. He frowned at her scolding him...he was as old as her, wasn't he? And if something bad happened he knew he'd be very upset. Out of habit from watching his siblings, he automatically found himself concerned about the girl. But she'd said no, and he wasn't one to disobey...
He couldn't ask his family to goo. Mother and Father...they were n't young any more, much as he hated to admit it. No, he'd go to Amira's pride himself. One day. To clear the way he scrambled up the vine. He waited patiently at the top. He wouldn't follow. Not yet anyway.
