Penelope heard Max trying to tell a joke, and wanted to help get the little one's involved. She turned halfway around so she could see her son. "Seth, do you remember what to reply to the 'knock knock' joke?" Seth looked up at his mom and then over to Max. "Who's there?" he said loudly, with a big smile on his Furby beak.
Penelope beamed at him for showing enthusiasm towards the newcomer. She took a step back from him to watch.
Favulous reached into her basket again and pulled out a drawing pad and pencil. "This is too cute not to try and doodle." She started drawing, giggling quietly while she did.

Max smiled as best as a Furby can with a beak. His ears perked right up with happiness. "Dexter." He answered Seth, waiting for his reply with thankful purple eyes. He would have to thank Penny later.
He noticed the snacks and ball Vicky took out but ignored them for now. He was too busy with his joke. His lavender mane blew about wildly as a breeze blew by.
Vicky looked curiously at the doodle pad, interested to see what the drawing would look like. She shared the girl's giggle, looking at the adorable sight.

Seth watched as Max's hair flew around wildly. He giggled just a bit and answered, "Dexter who?"
Favulous continued doodling, noticing Vicky peeking at her drawing. "I want to capture all five of them. I'm going to have Seth standing near Penny, looking curiously at Max, while he is giving off the impression of pure energy and fun. Gregory and Kel will be over here by Penny, Kel peeking out from behind her dad while he looks on at the other children.
Penelope sees the ball that Vicky has tossed out and walks over to it. She nudges it with her foot toward Gregory. She then looked up at him expectantly. "Want to play?"

"Dexter halls with boughs of holly! La la la la laaa la la la la!! Tis the season to be jolly la la la la laa la la la la!! You sing! You know song?" He asked. Thanksgiving was over so Christmas was coming. While he didn't know what Christmas was just yet he was already learning holiday songs.
He was concerned that the joke wasn't funny though, so he wondered if Seth would like to hear another one. Or even go exploring with him! "If not sing, want to go adventuring?" He asked politely, they were young, the world was big and there were a lot of mysteries and wonders to see. The park was fenced so it should be safe.

"I don't know Dexter." Seth frowned. "And what are bowsufolly?" He looked at Max quizically, not understanding the joke. After a seconds pause, he thought about his second question, an adventure. He had hardly ever even left his mother's side, and this new energetic Furby child was wanting him to venture out into the big world on their own.
He thought about this for a minute, and walked over to his mom. "May I go with him?" He looked up at his mom, a sweet smile on his beak. This kind of startled his mom. Normally, Seth wouldn't want to leave the santuary of his mother's gaze, none alone leave the area they were in with the humans. "Of course you may go," she said, a big smile spreading on her face. "Just both of you be careful. " After a short pause she looked at Gregory, "Would you object if Kel went with them?" She looked at the small Furby and gave a warm smile. "Would you like to go on an adventure with the boys?" Seth peeked around his mom to look at Kel, and gave her a big smile. "It will be fun!" he chirped.
Penelope looked at him quickly, again surprised by his sudden change in personality. She smiled at him again and waited for Gregory and Kel's reply.

Kel began to snuggle in her father's back against his mane. She didn't know should she go with them. But she didn't want to stray to far.
"Go ahead Kel, you'll have fun," Gregory replied stepping to the side revealing Kel from behind his back. He then moved around the little one and pushed her with his beak towards the two others. "Go on," he cooed once more.
Kel glanced up at her father and then towards the other two and took a small step towards them. She inched her way towards them in a slow manner but still she was at least trying. "Kel will go," She spoke finally making her decision vocalized.

Now that he had two others to adventure with Max considered where in the park they could go. His eyes sought out the bridge nearby he had seen earlier. It went over a creek. He had seen ducks flying over there earlier. He headed that way. Beyond the bridge was a flower field and probably a dozen bugs like dragonflies, butterflies and humble bumbles.
Waddling up slowly to the water's edge he looked in and saw baby ducks following their mother. A frog sat on the opposite bank. Max then looked at the bridge, he remembered a time Vicky let him make a spaghetti noodle bridge, sticking the pieces together with glue. It had been much fun. The bridge was wooden and looked brand new. It was painted white, thankfully the paint didn't look new or wet.
He wanted to cross but waited for his friends responses. "Go there?" He pointed his beak at the flower field across the bridge. He wasn't in too much of a hurry. The sight of the baby ducks and the little frog were nice to gaze at. What interesting creatures! Vicky had shown him what they look like in a picture book but this was the first time seeing them in real life.

Seth followed after the spunky little Furby, Max. He decided to just follow. As long as he was with another Furby he would be okay. At least that's what he kept telling himself. He glanced behind him to see Kel following along at a slower pace. The three of them looked like a very spaced out marching brigade.
Seth finally reached the bridge where Max stood waiting. He had heard him ask to go somewhere but wasn't sure where. "Go where?" he asked. He looked across the bridge to see a flower field. Flowers meant bugs, which meant he didn't like flowers, because he definitely didn't like bugs.
"Bugs over there?" he asked with a very disgusted look on his face. "Bugs are bad." He added. Then he thought to himself, 'This is an adventure. Maybe I should give it a chance.' "But I go if you want." He added again with a small smile. He hoped he hadn't confused the other Furby. They stood waiting for Kel to catch up.

Kel slowly followed the two waddling after them. She stopped half way to the bridge and glanced back at her father and then continued on her way still she caught up with them. "Kel Doesn't matter where we go."

"Bugs don't seem bad to me." Max announced. He switched direction, following the river to head toward a patch of small hills with a string of trees bunched together in the back that almost looked like a tiny forest. If Seth didn't like bugs that much they'd just go this way.
He thought that they could almost play and seek here. The hills and trees were big enough to hide behind. "Want to play hide and seek?" He wondered if they even knew the game.
Among the trees of the forest nearby a weird bird flew down from a branch and pecked at the ground as the base of a hill nearby. It was mostly blue with a long brilliantly colored green tail. Big compared to some birds, with powerful legs and a slender neck. ( Peacock, we'll just say it's a park pet. )
It let out a call to the singing tiny birds up in the tree then continued eating corn and seeds from the ground. Other smaller plainer birds soon joined it. The bigger bird willingly shared.

Seth was happy he didn't have to deal with the bugs. He had never liked the buzzing noises they made. He followed after his new friend and soon found himself staring at a new creature he had never seen before. This brilliantly colored animal was pecking at something on the ground. Seth was curious as to what it was. He saw it raise its head and make a calling noise towards the nearby trees, which soon brought more creatures to the scene. Seth watched as more of the winged animals landed and started pecking at the ground.
He had heard Max ask if he wanted to play hide and seek, one of Seth's favorite games. "Seek?" he questioned. "I seek?" He wanted to be the seeker, since it was his favorite part. He smiled at Max and then to Kel. "You go hide, and I count to thirty." He closed his eyes, still smiling, and started counting. "1....2....3...."

Max ran off before Seth could finish counting. He loved hide and seek! He tried to be stealthy about not making a sound. He found a hollow log among the trees and crawled into it, grinning with excitement.
He'd never find him here!

"26....27....28....29.....30. Ready or not! Here I come!" Seth exclaimed. He opened his eyes to realize he was alone. He looked all around him for signs of Furbys. Nothing. So, he set out to look. First he checked some bushes not far from him. 'No one here,' he thought to himself. 'Hmm.. maybe behind the trees?' So, he crept along the treeline, peeking behind a couple trees. 'That could take a while. Maybe I should look somewhere else first.'
He looked and looked for about ten minutes. Finally he stumbled upon a log laying in the edge of the trees. He needed a rest, so he went over and sat down on the log. 'Hmm... now, where would I hide if I were hiding,' he thought to himself again.

Max couldn't hold it anymore. He could hear footsteps but he couldn't help it. He farted, it ended up being louder than he hoped it would be. "Uh oh...Hehehee!" He giggled quietly to himself. The smell quickly filled the log. He held his breathe hoping to either be found or not found so he could leave the log and maybe find a new hiding place if he wasn't found.
( What? Furbys do it, we do it, it's normal! I'm just daring enough to let it happen online! )

Suddenly, there came a loud ripping noise from inside the log, that startled Seth so badly, he fell off backwards. Then came the horrendous smell! He got up quickly, forgetting about hide and seek, and ran as fast as he could away from the smell and noise. He could only imagine the horrible beast that would make such a sound and smell.
(lol That was awesome! I can imagine the look on Seth's face!)
