Chris visibly cringed at the sudden shouting of his name. He slowly scooted just a biiiiiit closer to Chef and continued the conversation.
"...huh, that's a bit odd dude."
Eyes darted to the top of the tree before glancing back up at Chef.
"...you're sure you actually put one up there?"
Flicking an ear, Maclean turned and addressed the other.
"Sorryyyy, somehow a buncha interns managed to SURVIVE...sheesh.."
A glance at Scott before resuming.
"So we're good for this season. But if I get the next season pitched to the producers...perhaps I'll need some help then."

Quicksilver the Archangel Chef shifted his weight from one booted foot to the other, his attention bouncing back and forth from his boss to those that came to see the tree he decorated. He was prideful of it, to be sure -- but that one that kept staring at the tree... It was kinda creepy. He shrugged at Chris' question. "I'm pretty sure I did... There was one in the box, and I had to climb the tree to put it up there... 'cause I found it after I hit the star." When Scott ventured near, Chef turned his eyes onto him. "Oi! Intern! Did you take i--" he cut himself off as a marshmallow came flying up at him. He caught it, then stared at it quizzically. "Did you lock up the marshmallows, Chris?"
