Hyacinth looked down at the flower with a bit of surprise, "Oh? Yes, it sounds a bit like Anani." He said with a little laugh, "I will make sure to bring the flower out to the gardens so it can eat as she does." He didn't want to risk his new, floral friend after all... though he was certain to look a bit strange carrying a plant around with him... not that this though ever crossed his mind. How he looked to others bothered him little aside from worry that his scars my scar the little ones.

Speaking of those scars, Ebony's usually keen observation skills were only now fully taking in Hyacinth, just like they had with Almas. It seemed to her that both of her angel friends had lots of sad things about them and scars and it took her till the second time meeting them to particularly notice. Just like the majority of Hyacinth's wing being missing. Though she'd hugged him and seen the wings, she'd not previously processed the whole appearance of him.
The child looked up at the angel, taking him fully in with her innocent eyes and felt the urge to hug him once more. Not just a friendly because-I'm-Ebby-and-over-affectionate hug, but a warm, tight hug, almost like she was somewhat worried about losing him. Hyacinth was one of the nicest people in the world she had ever met - after meeting him TWICE she was already sure that it had to be the greatest sin in the universe to hurt someone like that. And she couldn't help but want to hug him when she saw how hurt he'd been.

Hyacinth gave a soft sound of surprise at the hug, looking down at the little girl that was holding onto him tightly and he gave a soft smile, "Are you alright?" He asked, stroking a hand over her hair in a soothing manner. He could tell from the air around her that it wasn't just a hug to hug someone, there was emotion to it that caused him a bit of worry for her.

"You were hurt. That makes me sad. You're too nice to be hurt." she said, her voice soft, as she held onto him. Ebony could never hate a person for hurting someone dear to her, but she found she hurt dearly if someone dear to her were hurt.

"Its alright, it was a long time ago... just an accident and nothing you should worry about." The angel said in a soothing, ever gentle voice. He didn't want for her to be upset, he preferred when she was happy.
Almas gave a noise as though he were choking, looking at Hyacinth through wide eyes, "An accident?" He asked.
The angel nodded, "Of course, nothing more." He said in a manner that told Almas that he didn't want to discuss it further as it would bother Ebony or scare her. Calling it an accident was enough.

Ebby accepted the explanation, though raised by Dartsmoores told her that it wasn't the whole story - you have to learn that with cunning brothers and paranoid mothers. She smiled and squeezed Hyacinth a little, one more time, before pulling back again.
"Y-you mentioned someone called Anani? Who is that?" she asked, smiling and trying to change the subject.

He gave a smile when she seemed to believe his words, "Anani is one of my sisters who also lives here at the labs, she is out often in the gardens because she favors the warm light of the sun." He explained to her, even when the weather was cold the gardens remained warm through man made means.
Almas relaxed against the wall again, he would rather not explain to Ebony what had truly happened to Hyacinth but it was odd that the angel wrote it off as accident. Then again Almas knew the angel blamed himself for it so of course he wouldn't see it as an attack...

"Oh. What is her virtue?" the child asked, smiling broadly. Her curiosity was piqued once more and she didn't have to think on the subjects they didn't want her to.

"Anani is the Angel of Abstinence." Hyacinth explained to her, sitting down on the edge of the bed so that he wouldn't feel as though he were standing over her, "He forgoes eating which is why she is always in the garden, she lives off of the sun as plants do."

"Oh. " the child seemed to understand this and bounced on her toes a bit as she tried to process this. Abstinence was hard for her to understand, particularly since that was different from how she had previously heard the word used. Still, she got her mind wrapped around it eventually. "Which are you?"

"I am the Angel of Patience." He said, giving a smile. He was one who could deal with most everything, could forgive anything, a very dangerous frame of mind to have given that people would want to take advantage of him and his kindness.
Almas gave a little sighing sound, "Its because of what he is that he needs a lot in the way of protection." He told Ebony.
The angel flushed a little, "It isn't there fault, everyone has their weaknesses. Its just something one much forgive them for." He said, then turned his attention to Ebony once more, "Will you be meeting with my sisters and brothers in the future?"

"I might be? I dunno yet. Almas is leading the way." she explained with a nod, snugging Hyacinth again quickly. He was fun to hug and seemed to need lots of them. This one was just a warm, affectionate because-I-like-hugging-you hug.

Hyacinth looked over at Almas before giving a nod of his head, "He seems like one that will good by you and will take you somewhere interesting. There are many who will be happy to meet you, its a lonely place far from home for all of us, angel, human, and demon alike."
He stepped back after her tight hug, "Be careful though, while the demons are lonely they still have dangerous natures... it isn't their fault and they should be forgiven but... I would hate to see someone as sweet as you hurt."
Almas looked at Hyacinth a little surprised that he would say something like that, "I will be careful, it is not as though I would bring her to see someone like Shar." The Fallen said, his eyes slight narrowed.
Hyacinth flinched, "Yes... of course not, enjoy the rest of your walk." He murmured.
The fallen nodded then turned, "Come on Ebony, there are others waiting to see you."

Ebony smiled gently and waved to Hyacinth as she took Almas's hand and walked out. She wanted to ask who Shar was and why the Fallen had acted the way he did about that person, but she considered it a better idea to just be quiet.
Carefully, as they were walking out, she checked on Enki's present in the bag she'd put into her pocket. She hadn't want to drop it or bump it into Hyacinth when giving it hugs so she'd put it there during the first part of the walk. Well, she still had it and it was intact, so that was good.
"Where to now?"

"We can check the gardens if you like, see if perhaps Anani is there." He told her, glad to be out of Hyacinth's room. He really did like that angel but there were some times about him that made the fallen angry... and envious. Feelings he didn't want to have and most definitely he didn't want them flaring up around innocent people.
He looked down at Ebony and gave her a smile, "It is nice having you come by to visit. Your... not like the others here, it makes me worry about you though. If you stay to long..." What if this place infected her too? He didn't want that... maybe he was wrong to encourage her to come back.
He shook his head, trying to get rid of the thought, "Not to long a walk to the gardens."
