It was raining. The wind was cold. it was, in all, a bad day to be outside. Still, Lord Archarus liked storms. He could go outside those days. With his retainers behind him, he made a trip through the town. His town. It was his land, after all. He began the monthly blood drive as always. People lined up to donate blood for the hospital and recieve their complimentary cookies.
---
Edward Van Helsing hated the rain. it was cold on the ground, but far worse on drakeback. He shivered as freezing winds gusted past him, grateful for his long coat that kept him from freezing.
---
The patter of rain on the roof didn't bother Marie, as she sat in the library of Castle Obsidian with a book of history. She placed her tea gently on the table next to her as she read in the light of her lamp.

Serena was in the library reading about vampires, which was a little ironic since she was afraid of them. Well, not all of them. But she was afraid of the vampire who had killed her parents long ago. "Oh, well." She whispered to herself as she got up from her seat and placed the book back where it belonged.
She left the library without a word and walked outside, it was raining but she loved the rain even if she were to get sick the next day. Serena noticed that Edward was outside, she blushed slightly as she walked towards him carrying her umbrella which she had grabbed before walking outside.
"Um, here." She said in a small voice trying to hold it over his head.

Summer Greyson looked out of her window and noticed the rain. She cared not for any kind of weather as long as she could appear human for she had to hide from the foul organiztaion to keep alive. She spent her whole life hiding well she was done. She walked out into the rain wearing a cloack for it was her favortie type. Under it she wore pants and a shirt.

Edward gratefully stepped under the umbrella, "Thank you. Though had I known it would be raining today, I would have brought my own umbrella with me... shoiws what happens when we don't prepare, eh?" He gave a slight grin.

Elise shivered in her ermine-trimmed coat and entered the gates of the city of Duskwall. She knew she didn't have to cast an illusion upon her appearance because she was sure that news of her great aunt's murder hadn't reached as far as Duskwall. Checking the map given to her, from her great aunt, Elise quietly reassured herself that she was going the right way. All I'll have to do is go to the train station, find the Silent Express, ride through the Whispershade Forest, cross the bridge on the map and I'll be safe at the organization. Hopefully they'll take in murderers. Whilst pondering her thoughts she looked up at the gloomy sky and knew the Silent Express would arrive soon.

Obi Skaia grumbled as he stomped his way through Duskwall toweards the station, his outfit flapping as he moved, carrying bags of various meats. He passed Elise without even giving her a glance.
"Damn councilors think they can boss me around. Without me there'd be no accursed drakes to ride! Ungrateful organization brats don't even feed 'em. Gotta go all the way to Duskwall, gotta buy some damn meat, then gotta ride back. I should charge rentals!" He growled to himself.

Elise was lost in her thoughts, as she paced around the station, and barely noticed the smartly dressed man who went past her. What caught her attention was when she heard his almost imperceptible muttering of "drake." The cogs in her mind clicked together, and Elise guessed he was part of the organization. She quickly ran towards the man. "Erm... Mister, are you a member of the organization?"...

Obi regarded the girl with an air of annoyance, "Yes. I'm the head necromancer of the Organization. But they seem to think I'm the accursed stable boy! Why? Do you have a job for the more 'productive' members, are you hunting down members and killing them, or are you applying for your own membership?"

Jacob sat in a tree, in his human form, overlooking the town in which the famous vampire slayer Van Helsing was. He, Jacob, was cursed beyond all other beings. He was a werewolf, although not perfect, silver could cure him instead of killing him. He eyed the girl whom had sheltered him from the rain and listened to his reaction.

Summer wondered whether she should risk going to Duskwall. It would be fun to see how many hunters would be able to tell that she was a vampire. I think i shall risk it just this once she thought to herself as a slow smile came upon her face. She headed towards Duskwall.

Kirra sat in her room, awaiting for the council to decide on what would happen to her. She sighed and mentally scolded herself for her carelessness while fighting that werewolf.

"Yup." Serena replied blushing even more as she looked up at him. "Is there some kind of help that I could give you?...............besides the umbrella?" She asked blushing even more. Oh! I hope that he hasn't figured out that i like him....... she moaned to herself in her head.

"actually, there's a Trial I have to attend at the council chambers. Apparently we had another member infected by a werewolf. I have to make sure they don't kill her. Duties, you know." Edward sighed. "If you could get me a list of past infected members from the library, that'd help speed the trial along... If you have the time, that is." He pulled open the large door to the main hall, "After you." he offered.
(It happens...)
