Wynni nodded as she resumed her stance and seemed to intently listen to the orchestral music as it streamed out of the speakers. It almost brought an oddly dreamy look upon her face and she seemed to forget where she was until she finally spoke up, “I hear some of those …Violins, I think I heard something like a flute...One of those big instruments that look kind of like a giant violin? Umum…Cello?” She was uncertain about a lot of the instrumental names for the moment. “Some big drum sounds, and oh! A tuba,” she giggled lightly as if amused at the sounds the tuba makes.

Rachel nodded as the girl listed each individual instrument. She was doing rather well. "Good job. You're doing fine."

She listened further for a moment or two before she spoke again, “Umm, those small triangle things and a xylophone.” Wynni seemed to concentrate but couldn’t seem to make out much more though. The tall girl glanced up at her teacher questioningly as if to see if she had missed some. It was likely.
"Umm...When I leave here, is there anything I have to do in order to practice...?" Under the guidance of Racheal and her mother she was certain not to get overwhelmed by the depth of sounds she now seems to hear.

"You did fine, particularly for being new at it. Just listen to things and try to hone in on sounds and eventually you'll be practiced enough to pick out all of the sounds you here. That's really all you can do for practice in this case." the blonde explained, nodding his head a bit. "You don't even really have to do that much. If you want to get better at it, it'd be a good idea, but I don't think it's supremely necessary for you to. Though, I could be wrong."

Wynni seemed thoughtful and shrugged at the mention of the skill being ‘needful’. She liked to be prepared but on the other hand it could get her in trouble, at least a little bit, if she didn’t learn to control it.
“Well if I practice then I can make sure I don’t hear what I shouldn’t. I kinda embarrassed mom a couple of times when it first started happening…She was trying to have a private conversation with someone.” Wynni murmured a bit. “So I guess if I practice it I can also control when I want to listen for something…Instead of it just goin’ off.”

"Well, then you do that. Try tuning things out and just work at it. That's about all I think you really need at this point. If you have any further questions, I'll try to answer them. Otherwise, you can go ahead and go home." he told her with a decently warm look. He wasn't a big smiler, but he tried to be nice.

"Okay! Thank you for helping me." She said happily as she began to straighten up once more. There was a small pause as she seemed to hesitate before she suddenly stepped toward her teacher and hugged him around the mid-section.
After her hug was given she stepped back, waved, and wandered out of the room humming softly to herself. That was a very fun lesson!

Rachel blinked, dumbstruck for a bit. Huh. Well that was definitely not something he was used to.
