Chocolate leaned forward and frowned the rest of her words fell on deaf ears. His eyes took on a strange deadly light. "What do you mean raising your children all on your own?" He gave a soft growl.
His tail was stiff and his hackles raised, his ears fell back slowly as he waited for her reply.

She gave a little sigh, he made it only clearly obvious that he hadnt listened to her at all,cause as soon as she said kids on her own, his ears perked and he growled.
"Their father, is a wanderer.. Never meant for the packlands, and never meant for one area. He was my friend in my time of need.. He had been my friend through it all,whenI missed you most."
She would not tell Chocolate it was Gren, or anything about the pups father.She was still goodfriends withGren, but he hadmade it clear that he would be 'around', just not much of the time. He was a traveler, and his heart was with traveling.
Not that Shezaams heart had evertruly been with him anyway.. She loved him like a brother, even if pups had resulted beforehand.
He had once beena best friend, and nowshe saw him as brotherly.
"I can understand if you cant accept someone else's children as your own..But they wouldlove youeasily..And theyre good children.."
She sighed shaking her head.
"Im sorry to do this to you Chocolate..This was so very rude of me.."

"A wanderer...a friendly wanderer..." He looked at Voila carefully. "Who is this...friendly male?" His eyes narrowed on the pup.
His eyes slowly moved to Shezaam and widened in shock "What do you mean they would love me?" Was she still contemplating some kind of life with him? Didn't she realize by now that he was a dangerous brute?

She perked her ears. She wondered if Chocolate would want to be apart of her life, or if he'd simply just shut her out and tell her to leave.
She, too, looked at her daughter, then back at him.
"Chocolate, I want to spend my life with you!"
She said eyes wide.
"I want to wake up in a den every morning,and see you, and if its only you thats all the better. I dont want pack life, and if it means I get you too, then dammit.. Im completely willing."
She took a deep breath and stopped.
"I mean, that she'll need a father in her life..And without you, there will be no one else."
So what if Gren still stopped by, and had promised to help with the pups, she knew as well as he, that traveling wouldkeep him away.

What a painful thing, either she had missed him so much he had driven her right into the paws of another male. Or...or she hadn't missed him at all, and the pups were a product of her desire for another. His heart throbbed in his chest, it felt as it it would rip and leave him gasping, dying, slowly...again. Turning away from her was like trying to deny the sun rising or setting. He couldn't manage it, no matter how much he knew it would be better to leave things be.
"Shezaam..." His voice was a harsh growl as he tried to mask his emotions, but the words wouldn't be contained. "I...I love you! I love you too much Shezaam, it's dangerous...and now I see that you can make a family, a world, better for yourself. I can't step in and overshadow that, I won't take your future away in such a manner..." His voice shook and he remained stock still hoping that it would become clear to her. Half of him prayed she would turn and run, and take her pup with her, end his misery. The other half was battling to grab her, force her away from it all, keep her for his own. And the pup? pups? There were more certainly...His heart felt seared, as if a fire had flashed over it for a moment.

She snorted, but was excited he had admitted his own love for her.So she hadnt been crazy.. She smiled a bit, walking closer, putting her muzzle under his to raise it up a bit to look her in the eyes.
"Chocolate, the only future that holds any promise or happiness,is one with you. If I leave now, I willnever be happy..Never be truly loved and in love in return."
She flicked her tail, lowering her ears and giving a soft smile..
"But I want you to be happy, and if that means leaving.. I will. But you should know, that I know theres something here..Something good."

Chocolate gazed into her eyes, and he knew, he knew, he would never be able to turn away from her, or even to let her turn away. His tongue slipped out to caress her cheek and he sighed, a sound of defeat. "I love you too much, and I'm far to selfish to ever let you go again..."
He moved against her his body wrapping close against her side, his muzzle dug into her fur and his teeth found her neck pinning her close to him as he inhaled her scent. His sweet little sun, how badly he felt that he would be taking this treasure from her family, from her future...into the darkness with him.
He let her go slowly his body still pressed tight to hers, his eyes turned and rested on the small pup in the not too far distance, a strange anger gripped him at first. Slowly the feeling faded, though she was not his blood, no product of his love with Shezaam he knew he would love her, because that which shezaam loved he had no choice but to embrace. Still...a sick part of him wondered if he killed her pups, would she forgive him? Let him replace them?

Shezaam smiled with a puppylike grin, and wagged her tail furiously when he came close and held her tight. She closed her bright green eyes, smiling her fangy smile and beaming.
"Oh Chocolate.."
She sighed.
She wanted pups with Chocolate..She wanted them more than anything. But she hoped he could accept her pups as his.. She could understand if he couldnt, but they were part of her..and if he loved her quite as much as he seemed, they would be part of him too.
"I know, that she isnt yours.."
She said, glancing to the pup.
"But you will see her as yours one day.. As blood, is not thicker than family. And you shall be her family.."
She thought of her sister being raised by Alas.
Tempeste was happy, which was all that mattered, and they saw her as their true daughter, blood or no blood likeness.

Chocolate sucked in a deep breath, the wicked thoughts all fled from his mind and he nodded at Shezaam. "I will love her as my own, for how could I not love all that you do? It is no fault of hers who sired her..." He remained pressed against Shezaam his own body raised over hers like a greta mountain sheltering a lush forest beneath it. Slowly however he bent, crouched, lowered himself against Shezaam and spread his paws infront of himself.
"Come little one, we must be properly introduced..." His voice was still gruff, but there was also the smallest ounce of tenderness injected within. His eyes were trained on the small female, she was so like her mother, so beautiful in his eyes, but a different beauty, a different kind of love.
