Siti smiled at her friend, who seemed to be over thinking things, or at least that was how it seemed. "Don't be such a worrier. Its not too soon, as long as you love them, all of them, it wont matter. They won't feel like they trying to be replaced, I'm sure Udo and Korrin, don't feel that way. They have only been with me a short time and both seem very happy to have younger siblings. Udo will have to go on a seeking, but I'm sure he know even though I've got new cubs, he'll be welcomed back, same as always. And Hadaya only just came to you, he will probably stay until they are born, if not he will meet them when he gets back."
Siti watched her friend intently, but once his sentenced seemed a little jumbled she turned her head toward the ocean to watch the waves while he spoke. He'd barely finished before she found herself answering his unasked question.
"The cubs fathers' name is Mito. I ran into a rather large lion, named Barakillian and got into that fight. He was extremely rude and I got a little irritated, he would not leave me and things turned bad. I ended up with the scar on my face and temporarlily blind. I ran for two day, then Mito found me. He helped clean my wound, fed me, and gave me a place to sleep. He was grateful because the first time we met I'd helped his clean is snake bit, then we had an afternoon nap together.
While I was with he, we ... uh ... mated and I left when I was better to continue my travels. I did not even know, and he still does not know. I thought about going back to tell him, but before I knew it I had Jishin, Udo and Korrin and the birth was rapidly approaching, so I told myself when the cubs were old enough I'd take them to meet him."
Siti looked back to her friend, with a smile, "He is my friend and I am proud to have his cub, and he will know one day soon. Until then my paws are rather full."

Despite Siti’s wise---and true---words, Thili couldn’t help but worry. He always worried. It was stupid of him to always worry. He truly did love his hybrid sons and daughters, though, and worried about the discrimination that they were now facing. Prior to him telling them, they had no idea that such a thing even existed. But now that they were out there, facing it… maybe they would think that their dear ol’ father had some of those feelings in himself and that he was now replacing them and he would always love his pureblood lion offspring more and… he shook his head, trying to dislodge the highly unpleasant thoughts.
At least Siti’s words distracted him a little, even if there was some unpleasantness there too. “You got into a fight?” Well, it explained the scars splayed across her face. Yeah. Now that he thought about it, a paw would be a perfect match for those cruel marks. Still, it was so difficult to imagine her fighting! They had always been such good friends as cubs, never fussing with one another… clearly, whoever she had fought with had started it.
“Oh. Well, I hope you come across him one day. And you should always know that I’ll consider you and your cubs to be part of my family too. When I have cubs, I hope you’ll consider yourself an aunt to them.”

Siti smiled, "Yup I got into a fight." She laughed a little, thinking back on it. It was such a pointless fight. Both had thought the other was being rude, but Bara had pushed a bit to far. "And I lost. Things happen for a reason though. If I had won, I wouldnt be in Simbafutaji right now."
Siti liked to think most things happened for a reason. In her heart, her cubs had picked here to be born and she simply listened.
"I hope that ours paths will cross again. I know where his den is and it is far, but hopefully we will cross paths closer to home."
Siti smiled at her friend, she was happy to be apart of a family, a pride and to feel like she belonged somewhere. "I am glad to be apart of your family. I will certainly consider myself an aunt to your cubs", She laughed slighty, "It will be an interesting thing to hear my cubs call you Uncle Thili."
Siti looked to the sky. She hadn't realized how long she had been away. She figured it was not a good idea to leave hungry cubs waiting and she had bet Udo and Korrin were wondering where she was a well.
She smiled at her friend, "Speaking of cub, mine are probably hungry. I should get back to them. I will see again soon my friend, maybe you could even stop in for a visit."
