Dr. Fionn furrowed his eyebrows as he scanned the crowd in front of him, evaluating each and every one with a watchful eye. He noticed every feature, every hair follicle, every skin pore, every zit... He let out a sigh of contentment, feeling slightly eased that he knew he chose the right group to join him on his maiden journey to Andromeda. Bright minded scientists, he described while his brow returned to its normal position. "They're quite the lovely bunch of coconuts, aren't they Dr. D?" Freya questioned while she rocked back and forth on her heels, her hands folded together behind her back. "Indeed they are," he replied back, quickly glancing down at his cousin before returning his gaze to his new companions. "Hello my fellow astronauts," he greeted in a forced kind tone; he never had a good talent with speaking nicely to people for he never really spoke to anyone except for Freya. "Welcome to the home of Astraea, YOU'RE new home," he motioned behind him, where a sleek, shiny gray space-craft sat behind him. There were two long black windows that lined the sides of the space ship, and one identical towards the front (I WILL HAVE A PICTURE OF THIS UP BY THE TIME I GET BACK). These were the only things that were on the space ship, one so simple and modern. It was Dr. Fionn's art, craftsmanship, and love. "I hope you enjoy it as much as I do..."

Celeste merely nodded at Dr. Fionn's statement. She was still ogling the gorgeous spacecraft behind him. She couldn't wait to board, to explore. Her dream was coming true right in front of her eyes, and she was afraid if she looked the other way, it would be gone.

Liesel stood off to the side, solitary. While the man spoke she listened, at least for a minute. But she lost her train of thought in the middle and began to think about other things. Like her father. In her mad search for him she'd stumbled upon something huge, phenomenal, and above all else, new. Ly realized though, that if she boarded this metal craft, there would never be a chance to find her father again. But than, maybe that was good. She'd been hanging onto threads that bound her to the past for two years. A grown woman now, and she'd yet to move on.
By the time Dr. Fionn had finished she'd made her final decision. She would go with them, past the planets to Andromeda. This brand new world awaited for her, a world where she had cut away the strands of her past, moving on from Earth and into something bigger.

Hisashi looked up at the space ship and walked over to it, knocking on it's hull "so when do we fly this bird"

"Hopefully soon." Celeste said in response to the older guy that she saw knock on the ship. She stood next to him. "Hi, I'm Celeste.." She said as she offered him her hand to shake.

She watched them all quietly from the sidelines. It seemed most people were getting friendly while she stood there. It bothered her not. There would be more than enough time for social activities when she was in the air. She pondered her situation further while she had the chance, it was certain there would be less space aboard than in this vast hanger. Luckily, she might as well have been invisible to all the others, just the way she liked it. Nobody ever notices a wallflower, and maybe she would catch something. She observed a smaller girl, barely a woman, advance to a taller male. They both seemed intrigued by the craft.

Does that make me crazy? He knew not of where he was nor did he know why he decided to even go this journey. The letter that had been his guide till now was proving to be more useless than the empty bottle of water he still held unto. The straps of the heavy bag he had hanging diagonally across his chest was also just proving to be a setback. Having to every now and then adjust it's weight from one shoulder to the other was growing to be an annoyance. His legs too felt like cemented bricks and he wonder how much longer would it be before he would finally reach his desired destination.
Raising a hand to block the sun from his eyes, Niamh glanced down at the paper he held. It was a map- a roughly drawn one at that. There was no street signs or any other sort of landmarks that could help him in figuring his position but managing well enough with what knowledge he had, he glanced to the bright sky a moment and then set his eyes before him. How hard is it to find an underground lab somewhere in the remote area of Oklahoma? Niamh wonder to himself, ignoring the sarcasm that laced his thoughts. Sighing, he shook his head to clear his mind a moment before setting forth again.
Minutes- hours- passed and when he thought he would give up on this stupid quest for a lab that may not even exist, Lady Fate seemed to have something else in store for him as he found his luck immediately changing before his eyes. Although it did not seemed so at first, Niamh was surprise to find himself standing before the entrance he had long been searching for. Entering not at first, he felt rooted to the spot. Uncertainty and something else was slowly bubbling within him. Was it fear? As strange as it felt, Niamh knew though that he wasn't the sort of person to back down from such a simple thing. Taking a deep breath to calm his rising nerves, the long haired male placed one foot before him and enter- and to what await him inside- amazed him even more. Although he wasn't the sort to be easily taken in by such, the place was still quite the grandeur since the place wasn't how he had expected to be at all.
Wondering now where this so called Dr. Fionn was, he wandered about the place, heading then in the direction of where Niamh was sure he heard voices coming from. Peeking in, hazel green eyes roam about the room to assess all that were there before his eyes landed upon the man in the center who was no doubt, to him anyway- Dr. Fionn. Seeing as the doctor was talking, he quietly entered and placed himself somewhere in the far back, out of the way of everyone else but in a spot where he would be able to see the entire room. Managing to catch the last of the doctor's words, widen hues glanced towards the indicated ship. A beauty it was and Niamh was beginning now to feel rather happy that he hadn't given up when he had thought he should. I remember when I lost my mind. There was something so pleasant about that phrase.

PLEASE LOOK AT THE SPACE SHIP AND ANNOUNCEMENT POST Freya giggled as she observed the crowd before her, just as her cousin had, with bright eyes. Movement towards the back caught her attention though, causing her to change her gaze to the pink haired man that just walked in. "YOU!" she exclaimed as she jumped off the platform and sprinted up to the man. "Why are you late? Do you understand that this is an important event and that tardiness is not to be accepted? Do you understand that if you are ever late again I will chop your head off and eat it like a caramel apple pop, enjoying every taste, smell, and icky-gooeyness?" Freya asked quickly, barely able to understand her own words. Of course, it was the twenty-some spoon fulls of sugar that she ate before hand that were kicking in, causing her to be outspoken, random, and quite embarrassing to her cousin. "Please, Freya, don't torture the poor man like that," Dr. Fionn spoke softly, face-palming from her actions. "He's probably late because it's hard as hell to find this place," he mumbled, motioning for Freya to come back to his side. "But, but, but," she pouted childishly, her immaturity seeping through the mask of Maturity that she usually was. "No buts. Leave him alone," Dr. Fionn sighed. He watched his little cousin make her way over to him, but not before she gave the motion "I'm watching you" towards the man. He face-palmed again and then impishly smiled at the new comer in apology. "Welcome to the group Niamh," he greeted the man quickly, wanting to get back to the information that he was giving the others. He cleared his throat before continuing to say, "We shall board right now as a matter of fact. Please stay in the first room though when you enter; I need to show you the ship inside and out before you go wandering through it. It resembles somewhat of a labyrinth if you don't know where you're going..."

Jacob wandered over to the rear of the ship and started checking out the engines. He whistled like he was impressed as he started to inspect it. "An excellent design," he says, though basically thinking out loud. "I almost hope something goes wrong so I can pull this thing apart and find out how it works." He patiently walked back to the front. His head was turned back to the engines and his eyes were locked on them as he walked, eventually bumping into someone. He turned quickly back around and quickly said, "Whoops. Sorry bout that darlin'," to the one called Freya.

When the man didnt answer, or even acknowledge her, Celeste turned and quickly walked off, blushing, to go examine the rest of the ship.

When Ly noticed the girl stalk away from the man she couldn't help but smirk. It seemed like he'd failed to even notice her. She seemed embarrassed. The blond woman chuckled slightly and heaved herself away from the wall. Might as well get social now, no point in leaning against a wall before anything interesting occured. She shrugged off her conspicuous hood and walked to the brunette, admiring the craft as well.
"It's a fine piece of engineering isn't it?"
