Ingou Maybe when it comes around to increasing our member numbers, we could have a, for lack of a better term, contest to see who gets the most people recruited.
The only bad thing about this is that people might try adding others blindly and then they don't participate in clan activities.

Also, maybe we could add in a general Gaia discussion/forum? Such as if we're cleaning inventory and would like to give clan members the "First pickings" of what we want to trade/sell, if anyone happens to want to give away/liberate other users game items, etc. Already added a General zOMG discussion forum! But for gifing things away, I'd suggest going to the trading post and putting a thread there. That should be where people ask for things that they want anyway. Recipes are rapidly getting too cheap to be worth selling, but I sell em anyway just to clean inventory. ;_;

I wanted to drawing something for the clan but then I realized I had no idea of what to draw. So I was thinking, could we have like a clan mascot or something? It could be our clan's own OC, something we can all identify with. Once we have a mascot we can have a logo/emblem, because we're cool like that. XP

I wanted to drawing something for the clan but then I realized I had no idea of what to draw. So I was thinking, could we have like a clan mascot or something? I'll even pay you your normal commission for whatever you do draw. As for ideas for what the mascot should be..... I'm less sure about that. Please Kiss My Foot has also been interested in making a clan mascot. I'm afraid of what would happen if you left me to come up with the idea. It would be something zOMG based most likely. I'm particularly fond of LANDSHARK seeing as he's my zOMG boyfriend, even if he never does return my calls (But oh BOY are his kisses knockouts!!) Either that, or a Squirrel just because I love Squirrels! But neither of those have anything at all to do with the clan name. I suppose my vote is to not worry about the clan name and come up with something that the people like!

I BELIEVE! this clan is NOT active enough in the forums! I have a proposal! The forums is EXTREMELY HARD to navigate through! I don't know where to chat in general to my clan mates, where to find event's, or just any thing. I say we ditch the sub forums! Not all, but some. My proposal: The General Sub Forum seems to always be hidden to me and generally hard to find. The clan should be able to chat right on the front page! Yes this may seem like it can clutter things, but the clan should be encouraged to post guides, trades, offers, and art in there correct sub forums. This does however mean people will clutter the front page senseless garbage and random chatter. THIS HOWEVER is a good thing and makes a clan active! There should be a Mod or two that comes in and cleans it up like once a week or month and deletes all the threads that have been idol for a certain length in time, lets say, a week of inactivity. Sub-forums are confusing to navigate. I suggest deleting zOMG Crewing and Discussion and Member Introductions, Interactions & Miscellaneous Topic. This is for the main reason above. I also think Names should be shortened for the Sub-Forums, such as, Clan Creativity Corner, should just be Creativity Corner, Completed Contest Archive, should be Contest archive. "Clan Contests and Perk Reward System (VOTE FOR PEOPLE WHO HELP!)" SHOULD just be Perks and Rewards. Contests, Event's, and General Discussion should be on the front page!
I believe through this change, the clans activity would increase! Mod's can definitely move threads and such to there appropriate places, such as guides if they aren't in there right place. This is my idea. I guess I just find it difficult to find were people post.

I was HOPING that the forum scavenger hunt would help with that. ;_; I've announced it twice now and there are fishy drops hidden in the threads right now!!! Go find em and you'll learn the forum layout better too!
But you make it clear that we also need some forum organization so I am looking for someone to help me go through and make the subforum names clearer. I think we have too many threads to just ditch the subforums, but I have been struggling to keep the number of subforums down!

You Can combine the subforums. Like one general area to chat. Instead of breaking it up. Also the general forum should be the one on top of the board. Another thing. the sub forums names got longer. I got even more confused x.x

Well.... I do see your point. But there are enough things we have stickied that if we were to put the discussions on the front page, that's a LOT of threads to look through.. >.< Personally I really like having no more than one screen of threads to look through at a time, and the subforums make it a lot easier for me to find things. Now... I'll agree we may have too many subforums and they're DEFINITELY not in the order I'd like. But moving them around is a pain in the neck ;_; So I guess I need to talk one of the Officers (they're called crew because that's the lame name gaia gives them) into helping.

MagicalWitness Lol, off topic but... What can you do being "Crew" different to being "Member"? Very good question! I learned all of this on the fly after becoming captain of this clan myself. I attempted to explain this and some other common questions in a new README threadBut basically: Anyone, even non members, can view the forums (chose this setting) Members can post in the forums Crew can EDIT the forums, such as editing other people's posts and moving topics. They can also invite new members. Lastly they can access the "Officer's Lounge" forum that I set like that. Vice Captains can promote and demote people in addition to everything Crew can do. And the Captain can do all that plus sell or delete the clan. I think Estadan understands it even better. Now the bummer is that we can NOT change the names of these ranks, and I think the only thing I can change in the powers is I could take away the posting rights of clan chat rights of different ranks. Like I'd want to do that!
