*Shifty look* So if I were to say "Steampunk Inventor" would that work as a theme?
Or I might say "Halfbreed Inventor" or "Dwarf Inventor" and let you pick gender or what halves and outfit style... *would probably either pay with an old letter or pure gold*

No, no, that's too precise. *keeps changing her mind over her quest thread so decides to toss that idea* I think I'd go "Steampunk halfbreed" and let you run with it. Like, flip a coin for the gender and pick whatever halves you want.
Except I'd very sweetly beg for no vampires. Vampires are the same as gigantic parasites in my mind *will now be lynched by Twilight fans everywhere*
*now going back to dwarf steampunk* gaaaah this is hard!

Okay, so stuff in two days yayyyy *excited* I've been thinking I should have some sort of structure happening, so here goes:
I'll be in here on Saturday with a Go post, likely exactly at noon EST, so it's not like it matters. After I post, you doods just post what type of slot you would like along with your list of fundage, so things can be moved along as quickly as possible. I shall approve, approved peeps shall send monies n items to the mule with some sort of funbag label like 'Smerdle custom' in the title, and then approved peeps can post details of what they would like. This way, if you guys have super secret concepts or something, you're not posting them all over the place before you've got them.
Seriously, I don't think this will be a problem. There are only like two people going for these slots anyway. WHAT A PERFECT FIT lol I shall see you then, two people! Back to payin' the bills!
edit: Also, if you have items you want to pay with, please let me know so I can decide what sort of tektekage to use.
edit again: Read the stickies more thoroughly than I did! lol

I've got a list of 07 letters *since she went a bit crazy that year and got two extras of everything* valued at Tektek's lower price, usually the average price instead of lowest in market.
Today's values are:
Funds as of 1-8-09
Feb '07 letter: 29,954
April '07 letter: 91,715
May '07 letter: 73,428
June '07 letter: 112,872
Sept '07 letter: 42,732
Total = 350,701k
That's how Em says to value them in the read this first post^^
Edit: and seriously, I doubt anyone else would want my exact character.

o ho ho ho! Obviously I failed to read the tektek update as thoroughly as I should have. I shall edit my other post!
I wonder if I have any June 07s. I had no idea they were worth over 100K.
You could post your concept too if you'd like. I mean, people can always edit their details out if they're somehow not the first two to post.

It'd be easier for you to say yes or no to the kid if you knew what they were asking. It'd also make it less of a speed thing and more of a concept based sale. *shrugs* I just figure you want a choice about whether you draw the kid or not, since you're the one who's going to be drawing them for the next several years.
And since it's a sale, I'd say it's even more important that you're drawing what you want to draw. But that's coming from a staff worker's position. Artist happiness is a big deal for me^^
Edit: in other words you have my complete and utter permission to turn me down if you don't like the concept, even if I get the very first post^^

True. I guess people can do it the other way, with the concept posting first and the money posting second, or all in one post to begin with. I don't find there's much of anything I won't try to draw, it's more whether or not I'm decent at it that gets in the way. And if people are coming to me to draw a kid based off of Optimus Prime or something, they're coming to the wrong person to begin with, in my opinion.
I'm fairly likely to take the first two concepts, but go ahead and post yours even if you aren't one of the first two, just in case. heart

Is it possible to order kids as a pair and not have them be related? xD A friend and I have two characters we want to get that interact in a special way, but they aren't twins or siblings, we'd just like them at the same time if possible, if that makes any sense. *fails*

Sure. If you could try for them in the same post that would be helpful though, just so you could 'claim' the slots together. (Meaning you could both try posting for the speed factor, as long as you both had info for both kids in your posts. ramblerambleramble XD) We could discuss payment-type things later, because if the kids aren't insanely different looking, I'll probably consider them 'twins' anyway, at least for pricing.
And now there are officially more people that I know of than slots and I am nervous. lol

Okaayyy soooo like xD Me and Felyn want to basically get two theme customs, non-siblings. The themes we have are...
"Mafioso" (means member of the mafia) and "Mafia Princess" (not one word, but it's a phrase? D; )
I would be paying extra for gender specification (first being male, second female).
