Teetering up to the top of the slide, Ismerauda just barely managed to peek out and see her little brother. "Fondue!" the child called to the kitty boy, her strange soft voice accenting her attempt at saying 'found you'.
Adele giggled and skipped down the rope ladder, causing his sister to nearly fall off. Luckily, Issy held on for dear life.
"Shhhh.....now we stalka stalk Bern." he hissed to Issy and began sneaking around behind the whole playground so he could sneak in and through. The plan was to look for Bern secretly, while Ismerauda was the obvious seeker and diversion. It was a good plan, and luckily the horse girl vaguely understood it. Soon enough he was out of sight - if he had ever been in sight - and Issy was softly toddling around, looking into some nooks and crannies for Bern.

Bernadette had no idea that Adele had been found yet, she couldn't see either of her new friends now that she was hiding herself in the corner like this. She was partially blocked out of view by the crowds of children lining up to go down the slide next to her, peeking around them every now and then for some sort of sign of the hoofed girl or the superhero kitty boy.
After a few minutes of just sitting there Bern felt that maybe it'd be best if she found a new spot that made her less visible...but how would she go about looking for this new spot? She glanced at the slide next to her. Hm..that'd do for now. Ducking through the opening, Bern slowly made her way down the side despite the protests of children behind her and just barely peeked out the end for a sign of Issy or Adele. Eep! There was Issy right there looking under a slide right next to her! That meant she'd have to make a break for it.
The moment she felt it was safest Bern threw herself over the side of the slide opposite of Issy and hurried to the nearest tunnel. In her rush she was obviously forgetting the possibility of Adele and Issy teaming up against her to find her.

In her rush down the tunnel, Bern bowled right into Adele. "Aha! Found you!" the boy cheered, his kitty tail swishing as he helped the girl to her feet. "That was fun!"

"Oof!" The girl toppled over and backrolled out of the tunnel, landing in a heap of girl and dress and vines. That was fun! And she felt proud for being the last one to be found. Grinning, Bern accepted Adele's help up and smoothed the wrinkles out of her dress. "What d'you wanna play now?"

The boy laughed happily. "I dunno. I wanna climb on stuff right now." he told her with a nod. For, of course, the kitty boy so did like to climb.
Ismerauda toddled over to where the other two were standing and smiled warmly at them. "Do yoo know woot we pwing nixxt?"

Climb things? But he was the only one here that could do that! She and Issy weren't made for climbing. Buuuut maybe they could use Adele's climbing to their advantage! When Issy approached them and asked what they were playing next Bern tapped thoughtfully at her chin for a second, trying to think of what they could play that would still let Adele climb like he wanted to.
"Wanna be a superhero?" Bern asked after a couple moments thought, pointing at Adele. He could climb around and pretend he was flying!

"Sure!" the boy exclaimed happily. "What will you two be?" the boy asked, bouncing around in his cape. He loooooooved being a superhero! It was fun! Flying, climbing on things, saving people! It all sounded great!
Issy blushed and smiled. It was nice seeing everyone happy! And this sounded like an okay game.

...They needed a villain and one of them had to be the damsel in distress. But they had two girls! Bern looked back at Issy now that Adele had definitely agreed to being their superhero, tilting her head to the side.
Hmm, Issy had a crown...and she had a witch hat...oh wait, Cold Mommy had her witch hat. But Issy still had a crown like a princess. Bern beamed proudly and patted Issy's head. "You can be the princess!" Then she ran off for a moment to retrieve her hat from her mommies, returning with it in her hands before putting it on once she reached the two again.
"An' I'll be the evil witch who's holding you captive somewhere suuuuper secret!" It was a brilliant idea. Bern was rather proud she'd come up with this!

Ismerauda didn't understand why witches had to be evil. Princesses could be mean and witches could be nice. But now was not the time to ask about stereotypes, but to play along. So, the horse girl smiled and nodded.
"Ookeess. Ay jhall bee preensess. And yoo be weetch." she agreed with a nod. "Weer shool we wite?"
Adele, on the other hand, was already scrambling to the top of the jungle gym to stand up with his hands on his hips to look superheroly as he could till they found their spot. Being a hyper little boy, he ran around and bounced and pretended to fly for a bit before going back to his pose. This was fun!

The same reason vampires tended to be sexy and evil. They just were! It was the way of the fairytale world, and the fairytale world is not to be questioned. Bern turned her hat from side to side to pull it down more securely on her head incase she bumped into someone.
Once Adele was on the jungle gym Bern took Issy's hand and looked around. Where to hide her...the ball pit? No. Ooh! There was a thing over there that looked like a ship! Perfect! Bern pointed at it and began to lead Issy in that direction. "Over there!" She dragged the horse girl across the playground to the ship and up the steps in the back of it, seating her all the way at the front of it where there were children sitting on the wall going 'I'm king of the world!'

Ismerauda blinked a few times at the other children but crouched down like she was supposed to. She didn't much like fairytales, and would always question that world. After all, her Daddy knew a witch that was a nice old lady, and Bern was a witch and she was nice. So fairytales were meant to be messed with, at least in her eyes. But let's stop this conversation before it gets too silly.
Adele had no idea what his cue to go and rescue his sister was, but he listened carefully, his large kitty ears wiggling a bit as he did. This was gonna be fun!!!!!!!!

Bern rubbed at her chin and looked around. How should she do this...Adele was still on the jungle gym, he must have been waiting for his sign or something. Suddenly Bern gasped and stood up, grinning widely. Obviously inspiration had struck her. The little girl smoothed the creases out of her dress and cleared her throat, climbing up a little so she could be seen over the wall by Adele, reaching back after a moment to bring Issy up with her.
"I have you now, Princess Issy! And there's no one that can save you!" Don't quit your day job, Bernadette.

Issy blinked at Bern a few times, not sure if she wanted to break out in small giggles or look frightened. Quickly, she decided playing along was best, so the girl started to feign terror. "Oh noo!"
Adele grinned. That was his cue! Quickly the boy hopped down from the top of the jungle gym, sliding on the top of the slide and jumping off to rush towards the boat. His landing hurt his feet a little but he kept running.
Alice was watching the whole thing from the swings and promptly started giggling. They looked like they were having fun!

It was hard for Bern not to laugh at herself. But she saw Adele sliding down the top of a slide like Tarzan and didn't have time to think of anything else to say, gasping and hopping back onto the ship's floor to sit Issy in corner as she had before. Now she had to think of a way to keep Adele from saving his sister...hm...oh! She knew just the way!
If only she were older and she actually could do magic like an adult witch!

Since it was a pretend game, Adele fully expected Bern to pretend to do magic on him and try to stop him from saving his sister by turning her into a newt or something - at least for pretend. It was a good thing Bern wasn't a real witch or they'd have a lot of explaining to do to Hatty when he got home from his 'alone time' with Miss Ri.
"Dun dun da dun! Captain Kitty is here to save you, Princess Issy!" the boy said as he bounded onto the ship and struck a pose, hands on his hips. He, of course, felt absolutely no shame in this. He might be the only one.
Ismerauda was staring at him in utter bafflement. Part of her was thinking 'wow.......just wow.' But of course, with a slight accent and a reaaaaaaally incredulous tone.
