RuiZhi's naivity played into his favor this time. He leaned a little more against Scyeth, nestling into his boyfriend's shoulder (and hoping it wasn't injured; if it was, he was going to drag the blonde forcibly into the tub). The teen snorted a little, eyes flicking up to observe the blonde's face with scrutiny. "Gentle? Says the one who goes and blows himself up." Sighing, he nodded, fingers lacing more into the back of Scyeth's shirt. "I'll be careful. It's good practice for me, too. By the time we're out of the school, we'll both be pros."
A gentle, playful teasing back, indicating the Chinese teen wasn't so disheartened anymore. In a way, he had Scyeth back, but in another...the Aussie had grown. It was still Scyeth, no doubt, but there was a thin layer of experience, an inkling of growth in demeanor and attitude that made RuiZhi absolutely proud of him, something he had to vocalize. "I'm proud of you," he said quietly, "for sticking through it all. You'll be a great General, some day."

"I didn't blow myself up on purpose," Scyeth snorted, chuckling softly. "Did not make it any less awesome though." He chewed his lip thoughtfully, giving RuiZhi a scrutinizing look before chuckling softly. "That's what I meant, pet. I am sure there will be more accidents. Quite sure. I know myself well enough to say that, in the beginning, I will be far to excited and much harm will fall upon me." A toothy grin. "That's okay, though. You know what they say- no pain, no gain."
Scyeth fell silent at the next statement, only his eye moving as his thoughts barreled through the process. "Thank you," he finally breathed, the wild grin returning to its rightful place. "Thank you."
