"Hooyp!" Balamb blinked in surprise. Oh. He came down already? "Go 'gain?"

Balamb burbled, showing in a small way he was happy. But he needed a break a second. His mouth was cottony, dry. It was wierd. "Ju-sie than more?" Bridget must have plenty for everyone. She always has things with her.

Balamb hobbled over to Bridget's park bench and tugged on her, barely waiting for the plant-like Hiccup to follow."Ju-sie? Bah-bah?" She had an intent look on her face, as if she wasn't listening, perhaps as if she wouldn't have noticed an elephant go on a rampage next to her.

"Juuice. Bah-bah has juice," Balamb said matter of factly. Bridget was becomming dimly aware that there were kids around her. Her eyes stopped their reading movement along the crusty book. I will never get another child as long as I live, she thought dejectedly. "Juice!" Balamb prompted again in earnest. Bridget finally looked up.

"What? Did you... all want one?" Bridget's serious face became more serious when her brows fell together. Balamb mimicked her. "Don't do that Balamb, your face will freeze like that. Lemme get it, ok?"

"Ho'tay." Balamb lifted himself onto the park bench as Bridget turned to the otherside and started opening her pack. Well it was a good thing she had brought extra juice for herself! Now she wasn't even going to have any - she'd have to give it to the kids.

Oh well. She'd be better prepared next time. At least they were the little juicey-juice boxes. "Here ya go." She said as she plucked them out and handed them to Balamb and Sinny and Ebony. "Are these your friends? You making friends?" Bridget asked Balamb carefully. He looked at them and smiled.

Bridget just shrugged. Well More for her. That was a relief. "Alright then," She replied unperturbed.

"Ahh, Ahh!" Balamb reached up.

"What's wrong now?" the guardian sighed.

"Up. My wan' up!" Bridget looked at him and stretched her mouth as far as it would let her to smile. It wasn't much - as the effect only looked like a line was drawn across her face instead. She put the juice box down and lifted up the blue newt boy, then got her box again. Apple juice was her favorite anyhow. "Fangs." He chirruped, and then yawned. Bridget tried to grab her book so that she could keep reading but Balamb pushed it away, wanting to have all of her lap to himself. He watched Sinny carefully though. Why did he chew the straw? Was it good? Balamb started to gum it down the best he could with only two teeth. Ew. The taste was bad. But if Sinny did that then perhaps it would start to taste good. Like the little puffs he ate before they left.

"You, guys," Bridget admonished, slightly distressed, "You're supposed to drink whats inside not chew up the silly things." Bridget pulled the slightly mangled straw out of Balamb's mouth. It was starting to taste good! Balamb's lips trembled, not understanding completely why she had to take it away. Automatically he started to reach back for it and she held it away from him. "Baaah...?" Orange-yellow eyes wavered in worry and confusion from face to box.

Bridget stiffened a little bit. She was not ready to hear that from someone, or anyone for that matter. The young woman hated to hear it from her half-brother and sister as well, even if they were joking.

"See?" Balamb looked and blinked. Looked some more and sighed. All this was so confusing. He wanted to go home. Home was always better.

" 'Tay," he squeesed the box slightly to slurp juice. Bridget did the same to make sure he was copying her correctly.

"That's right, Now we'll finish our juice and we go home, we had a fun day, yes?"

"Mmm." He burbled in agreement. Sinny was nice. Fun to play with. They finished their juice and Balamb smiled. "Bye-bye."

"Was nice meeting you," Bridget concurred politely.
