Uh-oh.
Tabia's ears flattened a little at the sight of their two "teachers" approaching. She had to be brave. She had to stand and face them. This was one of the many trials required to become a good knight. Fearlessness in the face of two terrible enemies, both of which who were larger and stronger than you. Not to mention louder. Still, she puffed out her chest and sat completely still while Lakisa and Bandele bickered about who was in the wrong. She was waiting for Waseme to send them away, however the queen did something very strange.
She pushed Tabia towards Bandele.
For a moment, she could only stare up at her cousin. Wait wait, they were splitting the sisters up? No fair no fair! Tabia scowled at Waseme. "You can’t separate the two Knights!" She protested.

Waseme scowled back at her. She wasn't aware just how childish she sounded when she shot back, "Yes, I can." Well, she could. She was the queen, and so she could do whatever she wanted, including sending two little bra--cubs--off to different teachers if she felt it was in the best interest of her people. She was only thinking of the pride, you know. "Real knights can act as a solo unit, as well as together." Take that.
Bandele gave an approving nod. He probably wouldn't have had he realized that her words were actually just to provoke Tabia. His future queen being catty with a little girl, he would not be ashamed to admit had he found out later, was lost on him. "Alright."
"Fine." The older lioness was about as enthusastic about this plan as both the cubs involved. "Let's go, then."
As she was carried off, Amira called out, "Be brave, sister! Knights know no fear!"
Except Bandele.
