Hurrying around Jessica was freaking out. "Now where is my purse?!" Searching frantically through her stuff finally she found it. "Ah ha!" Smiling she pulled her deep red lipstick from inside and applied it. Beaming at her reflection Jessie made sure she look respectable. Her office jacket and skirt were a beautiful navy which went well with the white sweater tank underneath. Her long black hair was up in curls and her dark brown eyes glistened outlined in tanned skin.
Brushing off dust that wasn't there Jessica was startled by a noise at the door followed by a knock. Heading to the door her heals clicked against the wood there. Opening it up she was startled by a cute little girl with bright pink hair and cute mouse ears looking up at her. Smiling kindly Jessie picked her up and looked around for her parent. Seeing no one she talked to the little darling. "Hello there little one. Where did you come from?"
"Mama?" Looking around for her 'mother' Dolly teared up not seeing him at all.
"Awww don't cry sweety!" Hugging her tightly Jessie was glad when the little one calmed down. "Now whats your name?"
"Me Dolly." Having calmed down Dolly was still upset as she gripped Jessica's collar, a white note crinkling.
"Hmmm what's this?" Adjusting the little body to one side of her hip Jessica grabbed the note and read the contents.
Dear Jessica,
This is Dolly. She's a young goddess reborn. She has come from the land of Tison but was killed. Her first guardian is now unable to care for her and so now we have placed her in your care. Take good care of her or the wrath of the gods will be upon you. She is the goddess of cute. Relax her memory of her first guardian will disappear in a few days she will think you have been her mom from the very beginning.
Sighing Jessica stroked the little ones hair taking her inside and setting her on the couch. Kneeling down in front of her Jessica tried explaining. "Dolly you'll be staying here with me ok? I'll take care of you and you can share my bed until we get you one of your own. Now how about some ice cream?"
"Ice cweam?!" Smiling cutely Dolly nodded her head and grabbed Jessica's offered hand following her into the kitchen.
