not really a fan, but demons and wizards are entirely based around stephen king's (excellent) dark tower series.
bongzilla is based around the concept of tetrahydrocannibanol... cool

Gravechylde MegaTherion777 bongzilla is based around the concept of tetrahydrocannibanol... cool xd well seriously, their albums and songs are more weed-centered than ANY other stoner band i can think of off the top of my head. the only band that can compete in the area of weed-themes is a ska/punk band from florida called the supervillains

Pelican has a theme of nature, and Isis kinda sorta has a theme, though I don't remember what the whole story was. Also, Coheed and Cambria.

Rotting Gnarl Pelican has a theme of nature, and Isis kinda sorta has a theme, though I don't remember what the whole story was. Also, Coheed and Cambria. coheed is not metal, and isis tends to have ocean-themed album art, but lyrically there is no real theme
