"'course you'll have a herd," Diego said cheerfully. "We're just not made to be alone our whole lives. Not unless we want to be. You'll find someone.
Hurt himself? Not hardly. Diego snorted, pranced a bit then spread his wings with a snap. "Don't you worry about me. Just stand over there."
Out of the way, so that he didn't disturb her when he took off at a trot then a canter before springing into the air, circling the clearing, then making a pass at the top of a tree. He caught a branch and pulled until it tore free. Several apples plopped to the ground, and a few more were still on their twigs when he landed.

" yeah, you are right, I shouldn't give up hope." She smiles at him
watching him spread is wings she, sees how awesome they really were she have never seen the wings spread out before it was a awesome slight. standing " ok."
In awe of his take off, and watching him catch a bruch and tearing it free, she smiles at as she watches the apples fall to the ground, still watching him until he landed she slowly walks over to him " that was awesome, you have a wonderful skill there."

This time he remembered to put the branch down before he started talking. He could be taught! "Aw, that wasn't very hard. Anyone with wings could've done it." He was only slightly modest, as he gave his wings another little stretch, showing off the bright tips. "Help yourself to the apples, though."

She watches him " you still have a awesome gift." She watches his wings looking at the bright tips " your wings are beauful, thank you." She turns and heads for one that was on the ground, bending down she picks it up and then smirks as bites into it " Yummy." She beings her head with her chin dripping juice from the apple.

If she wasn't going to be dainty about eating, then Diego figured he didn't have to either and after a quick thanks for the compliment, he dug in too. He crunched an apple in half and chewed one piece happily, tail swishing as he went for the second half. And then snipped another apple free of it's stem with his front teeth.
"Apples are my favorite thing," he announced when he'd swallowed. "Well. Favorite thing to eat."

Bella waches him eat the apple and smiles,reaching for another herself " really, I love apples too, they always seem to make me happy when I eat them." She smiles again and looks at him then to the trees arond them scaning for animals

Diego hadn't smelled anything out of the ordinary when he ducked the branch. There could be a predator lurking somewhere out there, but he doubted they'd come out into the open. He hoped, at least, while he crunched, chewed and swallowed.
"What else do you like? Me, I like the sky. I like to be up there." He gestured with his nose toward the sky. "It's a whole lot easier to get around if you don't have to walk, if you ask me."

" That must how you get away and relax, sounds nice , I like to go to the flower gardens where their is a nice waterfall, and watch the butterflies, they are very pretty." she smiles " it must be a nice way to rest your legs too, your lucky to have such a gift, the able to fly and go where you would like and how you like." she smiles again " would you like to see the garden?"

"Sometimes it's the only way to get away," Diego agreed. "One of those things I wish everyone could do, sometimes." And others, he was just as happy that they couldn't. The skies would be very crowded, for one.
Flower garden? He tipped an ear considering. He supposed they couldn't stand and eat apples forever, so he smiled and nodded. "Sure. Lead the way."

Bella nods and watches him " wouldn't the skies be crowed, if everyone could fly, I bet it wouldn't be as beauful as it now." She relaxes a bit more, closing her eyes she trys to see want it would look like with everyone flying
opening them again she looks at him and smiles again, seeing a path on the otherside of the orchard she heads for it " ok.", once there she smiles at him, walking into the path. on the side of the path was lined with flowers, lillies of every color

Diego laughed as she spoke his thought. "Yeah, it'd probably get crowded. Be hard not to bump into someone up there, and the last thing anyone wants is a mid-air collision." That would be true disaster. Lots of Soquili would get hurt.
He followed her to the flowers, not quite as excitedly as going for apples, but she'd been nice and there was no reason to be rude and say no, so he didn't. Flowers weren't really his thing. He could appreciate their beauty and he did say, "They look really nice." But sometimes all those flowers smelled a little too strong. Blossom would probably like them.

Bella smiles again at his laughter " yeah that wouldn't be good, I don't like to see anyone get hurt." She smiles again
"yeah." She smiles and heads down the path that would lead them to the garden. " this garden has a big part of my heart, my parents died when I was still very little, the village I'm from had a attack of some kind many were killed, my grandmother said it was a animal that was only in legends, she also said that this creatue will never stop until it finds the ones that made it out of that night." she looks a little sad, " this garden is the only part of my grandmother that I left." she wanted him to know why she loved this place " I'm sorry I didn't mean to say all that." she smiles at him and walks watching for the path to open up into the garden

Diego walked with her, listening as they went. He was content, comfortable, happy.
And then her words sunk in and she had his full attention. His smile faded a little and his ears hung a bit. "I'm sorry," he offered. "Losing your family that was is horrible. It's good that you had your grandmother but..." He didn't understand this part even more now.
"If there's something out there hunting for you, how can you even think about living alone?"

She listen to him she smiled at him as he said he was sorry for the lost, when he stops talking to think, she stops turns her head to listen closely,
She looks at him and looks sad " Because I don't want someone to hurt in the crossfire that is why, I live here, far from everyone else, believe me I would fight, if something came after me, I just feel that it is not right to risk others around me knowing that there is a price on my head, everyone I have ever met doesn't want to get involved with this, I have never found anyone that would protect me." She looks at him to see what he would say

Well, of course she'd fight. Who wouldn't, if they were attacked? Of course, if this creature was a lot bigger than her..."Do you know what the creature looks like? Or...or whether it sleeps in the winter, like the bears do?" He looked around the garden, yes, a little nervously. It was clear enough out, and not night time, so he didn't really think he'd get jumped at random, but one could never be too sure.
