"Jini'Koza," she said softly, storing away the name to yet another face that had returned to them after all this time. It was hard to believe that there were those of them still coming home, but her heart was elated. It was harder to believe that Kichaa, of all people, had followers out there. She had been sure that lioness was one notch below complete insanity. "Yes," she said with a reassuring smile, curling her tail around the cub's small frame, "Kichaa came back some time ago with Kimaria and some cubs in tow."
Her eyes swept over the two lionesses again, then, as Jini'Koza spoke of them joining the Kunanda. "They are both certainly bright enough to be welcomed into the lands, and strong enough besides," she nodded briefly at the shorter one with that comment, "you have my consent." It was always a shock to those that came back, for the young lioness standing here to be the queen, with no trace of her mother within the pride. "You know the way. They have a while to choose their clan, though the sooner the better." She smirked then, eyeing Jini'Koza instead, "I have a feeling, though, that you're going to be speaking to Kichaa immediately?" She did have a feeling she knew where these two would end up.
Ardala simply listened to what her mother was saying, the way the meeting was taking place. One day, she might have to accept new rogues into the pride, if her mother chose her over Aladra. It was important that she knew how to do this, though she couldn't help letting her mind wander a bit, her gaze staring at the bright stripes climbing the other purple lionesses' legs. She had never quite seen stripes like that and they were interesting to her. She wanted to reach out and poke at them, but her mother would have told her it was impolite.

"With cubs?" She was rather surprised that Kichaa would found a male outside the pride that would have been good enough for her, even ignoring her dislike of speaking to them at all, or that she would have agreed to Kamaria finding a male. "An interesting development i must say" She laughed softly as she shook her head.
"I would like to speak to Kichaa" She nodded. "I am sure she will be happy to see me back." She also wanted to introduce her two new companions to her Clan Matron. She knew that Kichaa was a bit, insane, but she believed in what the older lioness said. Even if you did not believe completely what she said she did have strong convictions to the pride and would never bring dishonor to the beliefs.
That was a good start. She had been welcomed and the lioness here had even given her permission to look around and learn things. Jini had been nice enough to explain some things to her, and to tell her about the clan she belonged to, but she wanted to explore. She could hopefully learn much more if she talked to others.

She listened with interest, remembering names and the little things that were said about them. This lioness before them was important but Kichaa... It seemed as if that name was one she would have to keep in mind as well.
Amongst it all she caught the young one's eyes on her, a soft smile curving her muzzle as she lowered her head slightly, trying to catch the little one's gaze with every intention of crossing her eyes the moment the cub was looking at her.

"I see you are as surprised as I was," she said with a faint smirk at Jini's reaction. "I believe they were born to Kimaria, but I haven't pried," she simply shrugged her shoulders - there was no reason to dig about which of the mothers was in fact the birth mother of said cubs. The pair were bonded, and thus, the cubs belonged to both of them. Still, it had surprised her that they had returned with only one litter - most bonded pairs had cubs together if at all possible. She supposed there was a story there, yet untold.
"Very well, she is in the pride heart. I believe she's taken up residence in the same area your clan inhabited before," she nodded at this, recalling how Kichaa had set to work immediately to clear out all the growth.
The little cub's eyes peered upwards as the lioness leaned down, her head craning just a touch so get a better look. What she hadn't been expecting, however, was the sudden cross-eyed motion and a small peal of laughter erupted from her little maw. She clipped it off with a stifled giggle, trying desperately not to interrupt her mother.

"Mm... i suppose i will see what has happened when i return to her." She laughed softly. Something must have happened if Kamaria had come home with cubs but Kichaa had not. It would be interesting none the less.
"At least it will be easy to find home. I can help her if there are still things to clean up"
She looked at the giggling cub and then over at the other purple lioness. She manged to keep her own laughter at the look on the lioness's face to a cut off snort that she hid behind a paw.

A satisfied grin curved her lips as she straightened up, rather pleased to have broken up a bit of the seriousness with some amusement. Of course, she did hope that the little laughter didn't land the cub in any trouble with her mother once the two were alone... If so she would have to find a way down the line to make some sort of apology.

She returned the lioness' laughter with a pleased smile, nodding in her agreement. "I'm sure you'll find out soon enough - at least the cubs are well versed in the pride customs, though I suppose I shouldn't have expected less from Kichaa and Kimaria."
For a moment, her attention drifted down to the burst of giggles from her cub, one brow raised slowly in question. Then, her gaze shifted outward towards the other lioness, who had apparently been taking the time she was discussing with Jini to entertain Ardala. Though she would have prefered that Ardala pay attention to what was going on, she supposed cubs would be cubs.
"I'm sure she'll find something for you to do, no doubt," she said finally, her face calm as she turned her attention away from the small fiasco with one of her heirs.
Ardala grinned, though she hid her head behind her mother's leg as not to show it, as the two lionesses before her grinned back at her. She wasn't used to playing with older lionesses, and the thought made her proud, even if all they did was make funny faces at her.

"Kichaa is never short of things to find for us to do." She grinned with a nod. Kichaa never over worked anyone but she did seem to value the effort of a hard days work over laying around doing nothing.
"I'm sure you have other duties to attend to, so if it's alright with you i will take these ladies to see their new home?" And to meet Kichaa. Might as well get that out of the way and hope that her clan matron was in a good mood today.

Her tail flickered behind her as she returned her own attention to the discussion between the adults. It seemed as if they would be moving on again soon; a good thing. Too much standing around left too much time for coming up with alternate ways of amusing one's self...

"I'm sure she isn't," she said with a small smirk curling up the corner of her lips, her eyes dancing with mirth at the thought. She trusted that Kichaa was a rather hard working matron and probably expected no less from all of those in her clan.
"Indeed, Ardala and I are patrolling the borders today," she said with a nod, glancing down once at the bright cub that stood out as a stark contrast to her own fur. Then, she let her bright green eyes flicker back up to the female before her, then quickly to the other two before resting it on their assumed 'leader' once more. "Please, make yourself at home again. It's good to see so many returned home after so long."
She dipped her head in a silent motion of departure, then nudged the pink cub lightly with a paw before turning and disappearing back into the foliage. Her passage was quiet, speaking of a long time of practice among the dense jungle.
Ardala listened to the way her mother said her farewells to the lioness before her, making a note of the respectful inclination of her head. As she was nudged forward lightly, she felt a sense of disappointment, wanting to stay behind and see the funny lionesses for a while longer. Still, she knew her duty, and that obeying her mother would mean certain punishment. With a weak departing smile, she turned her head after only a moment's hesitation and followed her mother into the woods - a good deal louder than her mother, but still quieter than one would expect from someone little older than a cub.
