"Okay." Nataya said, following her lead. This did work a lot better! They were sure to win it now! Well, in her opinion, they were. "Got it! One...two.." She stepped in time with the words, careful not to yank Kash forward again.

It was fun, once they had their balance, Kash found herself giggling as other groups fell down, and laughing out right as she noticed Chris's partner sitting on his back as they did the race. Somehow she wasn't surprised when they were disqualified.
"This is fun!" she said to Nataya. Even though they weren't winning. That fall had cost them.

Nataya let out a light peal of laughter, thoroughly enjoying the race. "It is!" she agreed, smiling at Kash. Sure, they weren't winning, but what would the gain from winning, anyway? This was supposed to be about fun! She blinked as she noticed Chris and his partner, bursting into a small fit of giggles.

"Well it is one less group we have to worry about," Kash said with a grin as she heard Nat giggle. "Because he's definitely using more than three legs."
They finished the race without her falling, which was as good as it could get for Kash. "So now do we get to see the barrels?"

"Sorry, there aren't really any barrels." Nataya explained as she got to work untying the ribbon that held their legs together. "One person runs on their hands while the other person holds their legs up and runs behind them, like pushing a wheel-barrel." She did a (horrible) pantomime of it, doing her best to explain the concept.

"I'll probably hit you with my tail if I'm the one in front," Kash said, said tail twitching. "So you can be the one in front, okay?"
"Line up, line up, line up!" Shade called. "We're about to begin!"
Maybe it wasn't the end of the world if Rhye wasn't there for every class, after all, Kash thought as she ran to the line.
