One demon, two demons? entered the room, and Scyeth suddenly found himself wishing the explosion did actually kill him. The adrenaline was finally starting to wear off and the youth was beginning to realize how much he hurt. Demon or not, fire still burned and broken bones hurt all the same. He was fairly certain the bones in his hand were not in one piece and something was ******** up in his ankle and why the hell did the world look so ******** weird?

The youth pushed himself up and promptly hissed at the pair of adults, pushing himself back up against the wall. "S'my book," he growled, "'dun touch it." Oh sure, maybe he slurred a little, but it was a lot more than Micajah was up to. And that book was the last bit of Dante he had left. He'd be damned before he let these two put their grubby little hands on it.

And why did Micajah get Gideon, exactly?

Seeing as he was flat on his stomach was his face against the floor the best Micajah could do to actually see the people that had come in was to turn his head to the side and try to look with his eyes. When he did this action the warmth he'd been feeling early leaking from his ears now seemed to pull inside, making their voices sound like they were underwater instead of shouting above ground. He did not recognize one of them, the first one that came in and demanded things of him, though when a second voice came in and spoke his name he felt his blood run cold.

Professor Gideon.

This was not how they were supposed to meet again, just a short while after their first encounter that Micajah was still trying to slowly wipe parts of out of his memory. They were supposed to meet when Gideon knew who Micajah's father was and would be demanding more things of him, like many others, not in the way where Micajah was barely moving on the ground with blood coming out of every orifice on his head.

No, don't come over here. Stay with Scyeth, take him first. I can't tell where he is.

If he could have spoken he would have voiced his protest loud and clear, though it seemed all he could still muster was a gargling sound that was only obscured more by the blood in his mouth and the way he was positioned. He spit what he could out in an effort to make a clear pathway for his thoughts, that only seemed to hurt him more. Thankfully he still had all his teeth, though perhaps he'd bitten his tongue . . .

" . ..no. . . ."

"What a way to meet..." Quentin managed wryly. Quentin didn't need to search. His feral green eyes found the book with ease, having seen it many times before in Scy's room. "Yes. It belongs to this... little fool..." He was glad Burdock had taken the other boy, this Micajah, giving him free rein to look over Scy with an anxious eye. "You have no right to be demanding anything. Hush!" He had to fight the urge to flick the boy in the head for his constant bullheadedness.

This was one time he was glad Scyeth's father was dead lest he be the one flayed over this. How could he not have been watching the boy harder?! Inexcusable. "Alright, let's bring them out..." Quentin gathered the boy into his arms easily, being as careful as he could not to knock Scy's legs together, which wasn't very careful. It would teach him a lesson.

"Hush, Micajah, Professor Quentin has Scyeth."

Quentin knew Scyeth, did he? Gideon's eyes briefly cut over, once again storing that fact in the back of his analytical mind for later use, and lifted the broken Micajah into his arms. He was much more gentle than Quentin [lucky boy].

"I have anteseptic and medical supplies in my office, Quentin, we can patch the boys up there, and then make them sleep while we take care of this mess." His eyes met the other male's as they headed out of the room. "... Consequences can be discussed later, no?"

Oh, Professor Quentin had Scyeth alright, but he was going to wish he hadn't. Scyeth Akazar did not get manhandled, not ever.

"Get. Your. ********. Hands. Off," the youth hissed, displaying fantastic flexibility as he began to writhe and squirm, yowling like a feral animal when his ankle knocked against his other leg. What the hell. "For Luna's sake!" the blond roared, thrashing harder. No one, I repeat, no one was allowed to touch him without his say so. (No, it did not matter he was making things ten times worse.)

He kicked out violently with his good leg and clenched his jaw, noticing how much that actually hurt. His whole body hurt. ********. "Were you listening?" he hissed to the stranger. "Let me go." Scyeth panted and threw his weight against the professor again, with much less energy than before. Man, getting blown up really took the strength out of you. He was actually a little dizzy, and there was still something wrong with his line of sight, even if he couldn't quite pinpoint it.

"Put me down. Put me down. Just put me down."

Micajah all but screamed as his body was lifted up, regardless of how gently, feeling for the first time the extent of what damage had been done to his body. While he had been laying down he wasn't moving so much so there wasn't much motion to let him know what was going on, though now that his body was being forced into different positions he had a clear understanding.

"Nnnnn...!!"

Unlike Scyeth who violently protested Micajah didn't feel like he had any strength to do much but simply lay in Professor Gideon's arms, his eyes staring down at the bloody shirt he worse instead of up at the man who was carrying him. He chuckled inwardly at the state of his clothing, thinking to himself that he had nothing clean to wear, when the thought that since it was his room that blew up he probably had nothing left to wear at all. No dresser meant no clothing, and no clothing meant -

He didn't want to think any further on it because his head was pounding and his ears were still ringing. He still couldn't speak, though the pain in his throat was subsiding, though there wasn't anything to say other than him wincing in pain with each step Gideon took. If this drew out any long the boy wasn't sure he could stay conscious. . .

Unfortunately for Scyeth, Quentin had expected such an outburst from the boy and quickly locked his arms like a steel trap around the flailing body. He looked down at his charge with a cool, solemn expression, showing Scyeth he was no trouble.

"A good General knows when to admit defeat..." But his suggestion didn't seem to be heard. The demon wanted to just drop him on his face to teach him a lesson, but he doubted Professor Burdock would think too kindly on that. Instead he looked up at the redhead and his bundle and nodded. "Extensively..." He assured, confident these two, well, at least Micajah wouldn't do another foolish thing after the whipping they'd be receiving soon. "I think it would be best to put them down now... If only to shut this one up." Readjusting Scy's weight, Quentin pulled off his leather glove with his teeth and pressed his fingertips lightly on the boy's face (doing his best even with all the frantic squirming), gathering charged energy within to lull the boy to sleep.

A limp Scyeth was much more manageable. "So, you were saying about your office?" He let Burdock take the lead.

Gideon nodded in agreement, though it was for different reasons than Quentin's. Micajah was in an excruciating amount of pain, and being passed out would be a blessing to the poor boy. A large, gentle hand descended on the boy's bloody face and Gideon's black eyes briefly flashed gold with the use of his powers in the dark. Micajah would be asleep in less than a second.

Now, still careful with the body [it wouldn't due to cause even more damage], Gideon headed out of the ruins of a dorm room and toward his office. "Well, I assume that there is a clinic in the physical training grounds and/or the science buildings, however, that is quite a bit away, and I'm not sure. So, I have bandages, splinting supplies and alcohol in my office that we can use to patch the boys up before we contact the doctor and headmaster to get these boys to the hospital."

He looked to his superior for agreement. "Scyeth probably won't have to stay there long, but Micajah..." He frowned.

Quentin followed a step behind Professor Burdock, minding the debris under foot as he carried his load happily now that it was unconscious. "Quite a first week..." Though whenever Scy is involved it's quite anything. To be honest, he was glad to find students so impatient and eager to learn magic, and while this lesson was a bit more painful than need be, at least they learned early to show it more respect.

"That sounds very good." He replied relatively warmly, considering the situation. Lucky for them, Quentin would have had them walk to the hospital. Looking down at his pseudo ward, he sighed. "Scyeth will be fine, yes. I just hope Micajah did not come to any irreparable damage over such a useless fiasco..." Luna forbid the demon remember his young and brash days. He was never a child, no sir. Always an adult.

It was only a few hurried minutes later that they were in the redheaded demon's office. The tall male placed Micajah on a cot he'd had put in the large space [mainly because he had historically ended up sleeping in his office], nodding toward a small, comfortable looking couch for Scyeth to lay.

Heading around his desk, he opened a drawer, and pulled out two bottles of expensive alcohol [Bourbon and Scotch, to be exact].

Those boys were lucky to be asleep.

Not only did they have one or two broken bones, but they also had plenty of cuts from various shrapnel in the room. They needed to be sanitized, cleaned up, and wrapped up before they got shipped off.

"Pick your poison." His wry grin implied that they would be finishing the bottles off when they were done.

Quentin did as he was told and let Scyeth lie on the couch, making sure to lift his head onto the armrest. It was funny to see him quiet. Like this, he actually looked like a nice sweet boy. Unfortunately he was always noisy, even when he slept.

He didn't even bother hiding his surprise or delight as a feral smile cracked his dark face in two. Stepping lightly over, his bare fingers slid across the smooth tabletop and ended with a slight click of his nails. "Which one stings more...?" It was only a teasing question, though it probably belied some truth. "I would have to go with the bourbon..." He wrapped his hand around the neck and helped himself to any of the supplies, getting to work on his specimen. "We need to do this more often--Eh well, the booze, I mean..."

"Oh, they both hurt like hell." A snort. Obviously, the redhead had done this before.

Taking the other whisky in hand, Gideon allowed himself a long pull from the bottle before beginning to clean up Micajah, liberally applying it to his wounds, as well. "You are quite right, Professor Quentin! We should make this a weekly occurance, at least. With or without the dousing of children's wounds, mmmn?"

Those boys were lucky they were asleep. Soon, though, the efficient men finished their jobs, and word was sent to both Norman and Kenth. The boys were taken care of by someone more experienced, placed in the hospital, and the incident was described as best as possible by Quentin and Gideon.
