Gravechylde My Hollow confused Why must we all settle for crap? Especially when it's not even close to the band you came to see. Well some bands have a hard time fitting in, like Unexpect, who the hell are they supposed to open for, they aren't really similar to any bigger band.

I wasn't referring to really obscure sounding bands. Or at least try to get it close, when I saw Candlemass they had a Heavy/Power band, a Blackish type band, a death metal band, and a gothic band as openers. confused

I agree, I think every concert should have a genre theme. Why should Turisas play with Dragonforce or..........WHY SHOULD TURISAS PLAY WITH DRAGONFORCE!?!?!?!?!?

My Hollow I agree, I think every concert should have a genre theme. Why should Turisas play with Dragonforce or..........WHY SHOULD TURISAS PLAY WITH DRAGONFORCE!?!?!?!?!? Because Turisas are selling out. lol

you people act as if the people who book shows are actually in touch with the scenes they're booking and know the difference between genres. prolly turisas and dragonforce sounded the same to whoever booked it.

But I actually enjoy when the bands are different, as long as they are decent. However I hate when I'm going to a Metal concert and a Hardcore or Metalcore band plays first. I like those two genres but I usually am not in the mood for it because I was going to a Metal concert....

Yeah, I didn't think so either.who, the -core bands or the old school thrashers? for -core bands, of course not. for the old school thrashers, i think their integrity was mortally wounded around the same time cliff burton died. some of them straggled on for a while, but for the most part, no, they have no integrity.
