Ryleni blinked for several moments once she finally caught on after his yell he was already a good deal ahead. "that's mean." she yelled but at the same time her voice was still like and teasing.
She thought it over but there was no better way then straight forward to get him and it seemed more fun. She played this alot with the butterfly's but it was all one sided. She laughed as she bolted after him intent to catch him.
"ready or not here i come!"

Reynardine might have had a good head start on Ryleni, but she was catching up quickly. The foxlike P'an-lun wasn't flying his fastest -- after all, he wanted her to be able to catch him. But seeing how quickly she was gaining, he had to pick up the pace a bit. Reynardine, vain creature that he was, was in decent enough shape, but hardly spent his free time flying or working on his speed. As a result, he was a bit slow without the added help of manipulating wind currents... and if he did that, it'd be obvious to Ryleni that he needed help keeping up with her.
So he simply flew at what seemed like a reasonable speed, occasionally glancing over his shoulder to gauge how close she'd gotten to him. My, he could nearly see the glint of light off her lovely wings...

Ryleni was a tad bit shocked when she quickly started gaining on Reynardine, tho unlike most pans she had the bonus of wings to.
She giggled almost able to grab the males lovely tail as it swayed about, but grabbing something so lovely didn't seem right.
instead with a sudden burst of speed that even she wasn't sure where it came from she caught up gave him a small peck on the check then yelled tag and did a sharp dive down, laughing all the while as the cool air brushed the faint blush from her cheeks.

Reynardine nearly stopped in his tracks at the peck on his cheek, then he threw himself into a loop-the-loop of sheer happiness, diving after Ryleni with a speed he didn't know he possessed. He wouldn't be able to keep it up, for sure, but for now adrenaline spurred him on. She'd succeeded in making the game about a thousand times more enjoyable.
And provided he could catch her, he intended to return the favor.

Finally rid of the blush she chanced a look back she gave a startled squeak when she looked back and he was almost on her. It wasn't the same movement as before, but rather then run she decided to slow her speed she was sure he wouldn't be able to keep that speed up long. But she was also tiring was more flying at top speed then she was used to.
snickering she looked over at him almost on her and yelled, "aren't we suppose to be looking for your shrine?" She was laughing as she spoke and that horrible blush had returned only thing she had going was she was black.

Reynardine noticed her slowing down, and was grateful -- he felt winded already, though it was well worth it. As he drew alongside her, he stretched out and lightly brushed his muzzle to her cheek, whispering "Tag" in her ear as he did so, then spiraling away to a short distance.
"Indeed we were," he called in response to her question. "Forgive me -- I keep getting distracted by something far more interesting."

his comment sent the raging blush farther down her body then even her cheeks she was sure it was see able now. If not before even, she was trying to stay serious but the male was making the game so much more fun.
She stared at him for several moments fighting the idea of chase or not. On the bright side this was far more fun, but wasn't what they had planned. They were over some snow covered peaks now the sun glittered off them, finally she got an idea not hiding tho as fun as that would be she was black the snow white.
Gliding to the nearest peak she smiled at Reynardine while grabbing a large clump and readying it.

Reynardine, resisting the urge to preen at his small victory, watched Ryleni for a moment to see what she would do next. Easily distractable? But of course. Still, it wasn't as if the mountain was going anywhere anytime soon. It, and the temple, would still be there even if it took them a bit longer.
His face fell briefly as she turned away and glided towards one of the peaks, but when she turned and smiled at him the cheer returned in a heartbeat. With a brief surge of speed he followed after her, curious. How lovely she looked, jet black against the shining white of the snow -- what was she doing?

Ryleni had to avoid the small urge to pelt him hard and changed her aim a bit knocking the snowball to explode on his side rather then his face. His face had shown that he infact never even knew what she was planning and didn't wanna ruin the fun.
Heart racing she followed the snowball she quickly closed the tiny distance he had left to brush across his tail and dive down propelled by gravity. she stopped only a bit from the ground to turn and wink at him.

Reynardine jerked back with a startled yelp at the shock of cold when the snowball burst against his side. Pulling back and hovering in midair, he stared after Ryleni, then with a mischievous chuckle he swooped down, scooped up an armful of snow, and began to pack it into a loose ball.
Watching her, he attempted to fly above her to let loose his retaliatory snowball strike.

She glanced in front of her for only a moment and turned back mouth open to comment when he was no longer there. Turning in a circle she glanced around quite shocked at his sudden disappearance.
"Reynardine?" She moved slightly to the left looking around a large crop of trees for the male then shrunk back and scratched her chin while trying to figure where else he had to run off to.

He carefully, silently moved himself into position above her, snowball clutched between his front claws. For a moment, it seemed as if she was about to look up -- but no, she moved towards a nearby crop of trees, rather than rise higher to look. How fortunate for him.
The foxlike P'an-lun was barely able to restrain a whoop of laughter as he made his move, diving rapidly towards her and letting loose with his snow projectile at point-blank range, then flying a close loop around her before spiraling off again. "Gotcha!"

The shock of cold ripped through her body as the snowball came from above and crashed into her. Dazed she blinked a few times before shaking snow flying in all directions. "oh you think so?" was her only comment as she took over after the male before barreling into him causing them both to crash into the snow.
Quickly she licked the tip of his nose before reaching over and dumping snow on his face. "i win." giving him a huge grin she looked at his caking of snow.

Reynardine flailed helplessly beneath Ryleni, then finally fell limp with a pout. Snow clung to his coat and to the thick fur of his tail, already starting to melt -- he could feel the damp seeping in. Trapped half-beneath her (and wishing, privately, that it was the other way around), he gave her an imploring look.
"Okay, you win. Now let me up? I'm cold and wet."

She seemed to think about it for several moments a sly smile playing on her lips. For a moment she didn't move then licked him on the tip of the nose before sliding off.
Shaking as would a dog she rid the fragments of snow from her hide, before turning back to him. "snow is pleasant but only for a short time." she was already getting a bit cold and wondered if he was much more cold given his fur was now wet.
She jumped gliding a few paces from the ground watching him with intensity.
