The large stallion smiled warmly at the other clothed stallion as the other questioned to reinforce what he previously said. He was just about to confirm this when he was surprised with the sudden request for him to display it to him. It was at that time that Abel got an obviously confused look on his face. "Show you?" He repeated, mainly making sure to himself that he heard the right thing. "I'm afraid I can't show you how to have a happy thought. What might make me happy, may not do the same for you."

'' Ah... you are right. There is no hope for me. Happy thoughts are not my speciality. ''
In the past it wouldn't be a problem but now... happy memories hurt too much to remember them on purpose. And so his dream of flying died. Flik sighted with a smile. He never could fly in the first place so he lost nothing. But the glasses are something he could get and he sure will with the first chance he gets.
'' Well how about I company you on your journey a bit. I have nothing better to do anyway and this place has become a bit boring. ''
Flik thought for a moment. He still didn't know where this stallion was heading.
'' Where are you going anyway? ''

Abel frowned when Flik had said that he didn't have any happy thoughts. It was a shame when one didn't seem to have good moments, but some just don't seem to know that they have them. "Well, happy thoughts don't have to be from the past, but I will not say more about it unless you wish to." He told him with a small nod and smile.
When the other offered to accompany him along his journey for awhile, he smiled. It was when he was questioned where he was going that he was thrown for a loop. "I would be honored if you come with me. But as for a destination... I'm afraid I do not have a particular one in mind."

Flik smiled. Having no set destination Abel was his kind of stallion for best adventures could be found on most unlikely places and none if you were actually looking for them.
'' That is a music to my ears. ''
Flik wondered for a moment what interesting place will he end up in this time. Well what ever it might be he had a good feeling he will have fun traveling to his destination.
'' I find that best destinations are found when you are not looking for them. What do you think Abel? ''

Seeing the other smile again, lifted Abel's spirits once again. His wings fluttered lightly before resting at his sides yet again. With that, he prepared himself to continue with his current journey, this time with some company. The priestly stallion listened to Flik as he explained his outlook on traveling.
"Well, I can't say for sure about that, but one can be surprised by where, who or what one may run across. I mean, it was a wonderful shock to come across you!"

'' Haha! Yea. Sorry about that again. ''
Flik admitted to himself that his introduction wasn't the best idea he had. Still he was glad to meet Abel. Flik followed Abel as they started to move forward. He was sure that this would be an interesting journey.
'' So Abel what is your story? ''

"Oh no!" Abel shook his head, "there is no need to be sorry! I'm quite happy to have met you. Meeting new soquili or people is a blessing!" He replied happily. His wings fluttered lightly as the two walked, heading toward the trees not too far away. At Flik's question, he tilted his head some. "My story?"

'' Well yea. What makes you you? ''
Although his words didn't sound like they make seance even to him Flik hoped that Abel understood what he was trying to say. Everyone has a special thing that makes them them. As does experience one accumulates through out his life.

Abel thought over Flik's explanation of his previous question, but seemed even more confused. That wasn't too surprising to those who knew him though. It was too easy to confuse the absent-minded stallion. Not sure of what his new companion meant, he asked, "What makes me, me?"

'' Errr... Yea... We are not progressing to well with this. ''
Flik thought of a good way of explaining to Abel what was he aiming at. He raised his eyebrow as he was thinking of the best way to formulate his next question.
'' What makes you special? ''

Abel gave him a soft smile as he shook his head, chuckling just slightly. As Flik thought, he walked along side him. Every now and then, he would look around them and check their surroundings for any sign of anything that might be danger. The winged stallion had to think about that for a moment, if he was so cautious of danger... why did he always seem to get in trouble some how? He shrugged to himself and continued.
When his travel-mate finally thought of something and restated the question, he gazed back to him. "Hmm... well, I'm not sure. Would being raised by traveling priests count?"

Traveling priests? Now Flik had a new problem. He never heard of anything about any traveling priests and this woke up his curiousity. Were they some kind of knight order? Were they good or bad? Well they must have been good. Otherwise Abel wouldn't be so friendly. Or was that just innocent act. Well at least that was a start.
Although he looked harmless Flik noted to himself that if this was played out well he could hide his true nature and strength well to a point of making his enemy underestimate him. Learning few tricks about this technique would benefit him later so he was glad he had a chance to meet Abel and learn something useful.
'' Yea. It does. But... huh how can I say this... what are traveling priests? ''

The stallion, yet again, stirred up another question, but he just continued onward to his unknown destination. As absent-minded or 'pathetic' he may seem, Abel is more than what he appeared. He's rather intellectual, and though he prefers peace, doesn't mean that he could not protect himself or others when truly needed.
At Flik's question, he stopped, quirking a brow. "You do not know what a traveling priest is?" Now that he thought about it, he hasn't really seen any around since coming to this land. Perhaps the Kawani lands had something different?
"Well, traveling priests are a group of humans that wander, much like I do, to village to village. They usually help the poor and needy, teach other humans about their beliefs and pray to their 'god' for help."

'' No I'm afraid I do not know. ''
He replied to Abel's question. So he listened to his explanation but it didn't mean much to him. He knew about shamans each human village seemed to have but they usually sticked to that particular place. Still some humans did migrate as seasons changed. So maybe traveling priests could be something similar to that.
'' And does it help? Praying to their gods? ''
This was one more human thing that he didn't understand. He knew that some soquili had powers but he never saw any of the gods.

When Flik asked if the humans praying to their god helped, he had to give a slight 'eh' and a not-so-sure type of shrug. "Honestly, I cannot say. It may help, but I may not know what to look for like the humans might." He explained, though in all honesty, when he traveled with these priests he really hoped they did, especially for some human's sakes. Whether he understood it or not, it was still fascinating to see how humans lived and what they did to make their lives easier.
