"Huh. I do believe that may be where we got Ebby. Though she wasn't wrath. Lust and Kindness I think." Bailey said, thinking on the matter.
Ebby was both having fun and very hurt and confused. But, since the object was to make the other girl hurt worse, she decided to try harder. Pushing hard against Mara's arms and pulling hard on the other girl's head, she managed to bite the other child's ear. Pulling hard with her teeth, she also yanked at the blonde hair under her hands.

The good thing about having Ebony close enough to bite her feathered ear was that Mara could sink her teeth into the other girl's neck. Hard. Grabbing the girl's black horns, she tugged, wondering if they could break off. All the while, with the biting and the pulling, Mara was squirming like a greased eel trying to get out from under her opponent.
"Oh yeah?" Naomi asked, raising an eyebrow. "Thats interesting. Mara is wrath and humility. But I haven't seen a trace of humility in her yet." She snorted a bit. "Lust, eh? That'll be fun to handle when she gets older."

"Yes. I know." the boy said, shaking his head a bit.
Luckily for Ebony, her horns were pretty decently strong and stuck to her head. Otherwise the other kid would be in for a pummeling, since Ebby rather liked her horns and might try and stab Mara with the broken end if they were ruined.
Letting go of Mara's ear, Ebby started to wonder how the heck she was to win this. Hurting didn't work! She'd rather hug anyway. And that's when she had an idea that most people only see in movies. She wrenched free of Mara's grip on her neck and gave the other girl a great big kiss.
"..........and it might be a problem now...."

As far as winning fights went, it was an amazingly great and startling technique. Especially since Mara had never before in her life been kissed and really only knew of kissing from the movies and whatnot. It took the little wrath spawn completely by suprise. Mara let go of Ebony's horns and, when the kiss was over, blinked up at the girl on top of her with confusion. She didn't even know what to say, her small repetoire of curse words completely lost to her. "...."
"Oh goodness..." Naomi was startled into a laugh. "I do believe nobody has ever tried that before. It appears effective..."

Ebby sat back and smiled down at the other girl before standing up and holding out her hand to help Mara up.
"You're strong." she said with a sweet smile. Yep, that was how to try and stay on the girl's good side after you beat her. Or at least, hopefully it was. But it's what she knew, either way.
"May be beginner's luck though."

Mara took Ebony's hand and got to her feet, blushing fiercely. Wether from the kiss or from the compliment, it was unclear. Probably a combination of both. "...thanks..." The wrath spawn, who usually was very confident, seemed rather unsure of herself. It was a new sensation and she didn't think she liked it very much. And she certainly couldn't decide what she thought about this new purple-skinned girl. One the one hand she was rather fascinated, on the other hand she was rather furious. It was confusing.
Naomi stifled a giggle and grinned at Bailey. "You know, perhaps we should exchange contact information. Your little girl seems to be a good influence on Mara."

Ebby smiled happily at Mara and gave her a quick hug. "You're cool." she told her with a nod.
"So...your Mommy brought you here to get an instrument didn't she? We should go look at them and find you something cool, just like you!" the purple girl said, with a huge smile. She really did want to investigate the instruments.
Bailey smirked, stifling a laugh himself. "Sure thing, if you like."

Mara looked at Ebony doubtfully. She just couldn't seem to make up her mind what to think. Her lips still tingled in a really weird and uncomfortable kind of way. Crossing her arms, Mara shook her head. "No. Dun' wanna shop." She pouted, sticking out her lower lip and glaring. When in doubt, it was best to be contrary.

"Awwwwwww, why not?" Ebby said, pouting a bit, her lower lip trembling some as she leaned in to look at Mara. "Did I do something wrong? I'm sorry."

Mara looked sulkily at Ebony, at the other girl's trembling lower lip and shimmering eyes. She frowned more, but couldn't seem to come up with a good enough excuse as to why she didn't want to go shopping. Why was this other girl apologizing? "You didn't do nothing." Mara said sullenly. She was weirdly distressed at Ebony seeming to be upset. She didn't know what to do with feeling distressed. Today seemed to be a day of new and weird emotions.

"But I have to have. You're upset for no reason, so I had to have done something wrong to make you upset." she said with a nod, for this was Ebby logic all over. "And I'm very sorry for that."
That was the final word on it before she gave Mara another hug. "Don't be mad at me, please?"

Mara thought, for a second, that she was going to explode. It wasn't that she didn't like Ebony. It was that she didn't know what to do about her. So she did the only thing she could think of when the other girl leaned in for a hug. She gave her a good, solid punch in the stomach.

Well, that started up round too, with Ebby grumpily rubbing her belly before wrapping her arms around Mara's biceps and pulling them behind the other girl's back.
"Warn me first." she grumbled, holding tight and pulling back so that the head-winged girl wouldn't get free.

Mara grumbled back, but at least she had returned to her comfort zone. Snapping her neck sharply, her skull connected with Ebby's forehead with a crack. This was better. This was what she knew and liked. None of those weird sneaking feelings. Just plain, simple, easy to understand combat. Much better.

Ebby wrinkled her brow at the hit but then just moved her head to Mara's shoulder to snug her. "Silly."
