She'd more been 'raised' on it by her mother (who was the one whom had given it to her in the first place) than learned it. Both names were her names.

Lake, careful as she was, closed her eyes to test the winds (a habit of roaming the desert) before she was following along after the dark female. Certainly she knew to reserve part of her common sense to hold on to a possible idea that she may or may not have been walking into a trap, but again there was also that touch of excitement for her.
"Well, it would be better for both of us to prevent such a thing, mm?"
Certainly would do no good to prematurely age a regent before he'd gotten his little budding pride blossoming and ready to handle things on it's own! Which certainly, with some sandwalking and perhaps a little bonding she'd be there to assist it.
