Marakl didn't see anyone who was bad. Maybe he'd be a bit miffed if he discovered - later on - that Sin had been lying to him. But he wasn't one to hold a grudge and the moment of irritation would soon pass.
Besides, this lie was going to lead him into fun. False fun, yes, but exciting all the same. Besides, even if Sin didn't hunt them, monsters did exist, in the form of creatures who didn't mind hurting a pup or cub. Either way, Marakl was unknowing about all of that and why should he be afraid if he was never really alone.
He nodded frantically. "O' course! I'm a great team player. I'll be at your side all the way. No worries about that." He hopped onto his paws and his nodding continued.
"Should I...meet you back here then? Alrighty! Don't leave without me or I'll have to hunt you!" With a wave of his tail he moved to make his way back to his pack's den, casting a last glance backwards at Sin.
((time skip?))

(Sure! Or we could start another RP that does the time skip, and just have them part ways here? I'ma do a sort of summing up post here, and then if you want to continue in this thread I can post again and do the time skip, or I can make a new thread. ^^; Either way works for me!)
Sinzia grinned, though it was much softer than he was used to. He hadn't ever had much experience with younger hyena, yet this little guy was a good example of them. He liked their company, if he could base them all on Mar, and that was a new and surprising thing. Maybe it was because they were so eager for excitement, they were willing to believe anything. Or at least say they believed it, for the sake of adventure.
Either way, Sin was happy. If more creatures, adults, were willing to do that, life would be a lot more fun for everyone.
Or maybe he was just juvenile in his way of thinking.
"Yeah, let's meet here. I'll be here. It's you chickening out I'm worried about. But don't tell your family about this, or they'll all get upset and either want to come, or won't let you come." He grinned and watched the confident young hyena move off, nodding approvingly. He called a goodbye on impulse, "I'll see you later, kid!"
Sighing, he laid himself back down and shut his eyes. He would really need to get some sleep now, after all. He wasn't much for staying up at night, but he had made a pact for some adventuring, and that was exactly what he was going to do.

(( a new thread works fine, too ^_^))
"Later, Sin!" He nodded and, without another word, leapt to his paws and darted off.
He loved adventure, he loved excitement. He loved to play a role that made took him higher than the pup that he was. Sin had offered him this one in a lifetime opportunity. To hunt monsters! Sure, it might be scary, he might be in danger. Certainly Marzi wouldn't approve, but she wouldn't have to find out ---
---Until he'd returned safe and sound with a great adventure story to tell her. Mar was a good-hearted pup but he certainly wasn't good at keeping things secret, especially things like this! Monsters hunting was one of those great stories that'd make people look up to him as a...hero! No wonder Sin wanted to give up pack life to follow in the tracks of fierce beasts!
Glancing over his shoulder at Sin, he memorized the clearing and with a wag of his tail, dived into the undergrowth.
