Ani tilted her head, not understanding what the small pup meant by that. Why, after deciding she wanted to do something, would she stop wanting to do something? Was she worried about what Ani thought? Because that was essentially... nothing when it came down to it. She didn't care either way, she was there, and she was doing. Ani had never played games when she was little. She didn't really know what else to do but go along.
She didn't know whether or not she liked playing. She didn't know how she could possibly know whether or not she did. Honestly, Ani had trouble understanding sometimes whether or not she liked anything she did.
It wasn't generally in her nature to want others to be unhappy because of her though. So she couldn't help but tilt her head, "Why shouldn't we dig for treasure? I thought that was what you wanted to do. Why do something else if you want to do that?" She couldn't quite comprehend that. The only time Ani did anything she didn't want to was when she would either die from it, or it would be too much trouble not to do it.
"And what do you mean... normal? What do you have to do to do something normal?" Ani asked, unsure on this ground. What did it mean to be normal? She had never been 'normal' in her entire life. She had tried, but she wasn't entirely sure how. 'Normal' never made any sense when it came down to it. "You should only do what you want to do."

Haramia’s tail started to wag- the lady brought up a good point. Why –should- they have to do something else? She wanted to go digging and it was perfectly fine. The female’s next question was just as interesting, if not a bit more confusing for the little puppy.
“I… don’t really know,” she said faintly, “I just heard from some of my brothers and sisters that I’m not… normal. I guess I thought I should act normal so you didn’t think I… wasn’t normal?” Her brows knitted together, her mouth shifting almost to one side in a thoughtful frown. “Have you ever noticed that, when you use a word too much, it starts to sound funky? Like, it’s not really a word at all? Normal. NORmal. Noooormal.” She giggled lightly.
Okay, so she was far from normal. Who cares?
“You’re right! You should do what you want to do! And I want to go digging for treasure! Come with me. I like you! I think we could be friends.”

Ani gave a small nod, "I don't think that anyone... should do things they don't want to do. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks... I don't think." She explained, as best she could. Because what was the point of being alive if you didn't do what you wanted to do, really? She couldn't think of anything. Or at least, nothing came to mind for her.
"Let's do what you want. And... I do hope that you and I... that we are friends." Because Ani did rather like the little dog who had been speaking to her. She was strong... stronger than she knew, and she hoped the little girl would know that some day.
After all, she had never really been normal either. And it wasn't very often that she met someone who didn't really care.
"Come on... let's go and find some treasure." She offered, feeling fond of the girl, though her face didn't show it. But then, her face never showed anything. "I'm sure that there will be plenty out there your whole life..."
