Climbing over rocks and under small bushes she slowly made her way foward. It was still dark outside and she could not see very well.

She traveled for what seemed like hours to her before she came to a river that seemed to wide for her to cross.

The force tugged her foward across the river but she saw no possible way to cross it. Sighing she walked upstreem for a little ways.

Finally she came to a log laid across the river. It had been worn down from use. Anat swallowed her fear and jumped up on the log.

She started across slow and almost slipped off halfway over. Grabbing on to the log she laid there for a moment in terror. Then pulling on all her strength got up and dashed to the other side.

She was close now she could feel it. She started to run alone a path that she never knew was there. Suddenly she busted into a clearing.

Falling over her own feet she tumbled to the ground and laid there a moment. Standing back up she shook herself off. Looking up she noticed other foxies staring at her.

There was a large pool of water in the center and on it stood the goddess. Around her sat many other foxies that Anat had never seen before. She only recognized one of them her rival.

The goddess spoke in a soft voice. "Come forward little Anat for I have a job for you." Anat trembled as she walked forward. Through the other foxies to stand in front of the goddess. Anat was afraid she had never in her life seen something like this. Even her sense of bouncy fun was tampered by the sight.

"What is it you need from me my Goddess?" Anat asked her voice louder then she intended. A soft smile graced the Goddess's lips. "Things are happening in the world and a new eara is coming into existance. I want you to lead this eara you must be like the guiding sun forever constant in the western skies forever bright." Anat was dumbfounded the Goddess wanted HER to lead people. She was mearly a kit who would listen to her? "My Goddess are you sure you want ME for this? I am sure there are other much more worthy foxies for this job. I am but I a kit who will ever listen to me?" The Goddess nodded understanding the kit was shocked at the news. "No my dear you were meant for this task. Look at your fur its as golden as the morning sun. You are bright and happy and you see the good where others only see the bad. You will be the one to keep everyone from falling. People will listen to you because you have things to say and you are my chosen." If any of the other foxies thought this an unwise decision they did not voice their complaints yet.

"Very well my Goddess. I will do as you ask though I don't know how well I will be able to do. I shall do my best to make it all happen." Anat said as she laid down her head on her paws looking sullen at the thought of having to lead a whole new eara. "You all have your orders now go and make me proud. We can do this my dear ones." The Goddess's voice was bright and happy like brids singing in spring. The Foxies slowly departed one by one leaving Anat and her rival alone with the Goddess. He did not look very happy as he approached the Goddess.

Quote: 2. Happy little arhat
- You're elated that Goddess has chosen you for this monumental task. However it has made your rival extremely jealous. They try to argue their case with the Goddess, that they should be the one to take this path and change the world. "You are the guardian of the past, -name- is the guardian of the future. They are to lead the world into a better time." Anat watched in mute horror as her rival Rune walked up to the Goddess. His black fur swaying slightly in the wind the light blue markings standing out in the moons light. "Goddess, I must speak to you." Rune said. Anat knew this would not end well.

"What is it Rune?" The Goddess asked Rune her voice gentle. She looked at him with kindness even though she knew what it was he wanted.

Rune stepped forward and bowed low to the ground. "My Goddess, I am afraid you have chosen the wrong person for this task. It should be me not Anat she is incapable of something like this." His voice was calm and collected even though he was insanely jealous.
