screamer It's not that it's wrong liking sailormoon or whatever, but it's just that all those series are kinda repetitive after a while sweatdrop and so everyone thinks "OH ANIME = big eyes + sparkles + crazy monsters = stereotype!!!!" gonk crying crying crying
as much as i do love it i can definately see how it gets repetitive, so i konw what you're talking about. and i do think the typical anime stereotype that most north americans hold should either die or metamorph or something.
did you know that one time this girl in my french class was like "i wanna work on cartoons, but not anything stupid like sailor moon, i mean something good like rugrats." i was like gonk gonk gonk gonk gonk
just saying "rugrats > sm" is wronggggg. crying crying

omg... if they knew how badass some animes can get compared to the cartoony trash they play on american stations, they'd be rightly ashamed of themselves. It's sad how people think cartoons equate to shallow programming in america... crying
can't wait until this ideology passes over and I can say "anime" without getting rolleyes from nutcases around me. Thank goodness for all thise Miyazaki Hayao movies. heart heart
