Lavi sighed, curling an arm around Allen protectively. "I can't moyashi, your the only one who can do that." He could only watch as Allen realized the truth for himself, and then he could act.
"Old, but still kids in the end." A voice murmured in the shadows. If anyone were to ask, no Dino was not stalking them, he was merely checking on them, for their welfare.....for half the day.....Okay yes, he was stalking, but mainly because he was worried for his new 'family', especially for Lavi, who seemed to be in the worst condition of the lot. When Dino had finally recovered from his strange fever the first person he saw was not Rynl like he had expected, but Lavi, when asked Lavi replied with a hollow sort of voice and a haunted look. "And here I am, stalking." He muttered, again to himself. He only hoped neither of them saw him, or that he didn't give himself away.

Allen sighed softly, curling close to Lavi, closing his eyes halfway. "It hurts..." he repeated, positioning himself as comfortably as he could. Lavi's arm felt warm around him and he would stay there forever if he could. Folding his wings close to his body he shook his head and then moved away again, feeling that it wasn't right or proper to impose himself like that on someone.
"Sorry..." he mumbled blushing a bit from being embarassed.

Lavi blushed, resisting the urge to fidget and stutter nervously, instead he pulled Allen back, smiling reassuringly. "It's okay, ya didn't do anything wrong. Let's...let's stay like this for awhile." It felt too nice a moment to let go of.

Allen blinked, not knowing what to reply to Lavi's words. Instead, he positioned himself better, resting his head against Lavi's chest. It was quiet, almost deaffeningly quiet. He could almost hear the snowflakes settle outside and the quiet heatbeat of Lavi's heart. It was funny concidering they were dead, pratically, and yet they were living somehow, a different kind of life.
He brought one hand up to rest next to his head and sighed softly, as if in relief. One that would see them might as well get the wrong idea but nothing like that was going on, even though Allen, in the back of his mind, subconsciously wished for it. Maybe even his violently retreating reactions were a part of said desire, a fear stemming from knowing nothing and which was beginning to subside as he remembered more about his past.
"It's... quiet..." it was a dumb comment to make right now however true it might have been.

At the outskirts of the town a single locust settled on the snow-covered ground. It was an odd season to see a locust outside, however it was there, plain for all to see. What it was dong there was an entirelly different story.

It was, but it was a peaceful quiet, Lavi thought, beginning to drift off. "I wouldn't complain, just enjoy it for now." Huh, he could even hear Kaito singing a peaceful tune inside, at least he thought it was Kaito. Too lazy to care.
From his perch, Dino noticed Lavi had begun to fall asleep, and was shocked. "How can he!?" He exclaimed quietly to himself. He guessed it was either because of Lavi's fire power or that he was less alive than Dino was, but either way, Dino thought it would be dangerous to do that. He watched the two for a bit longer, before deciding he needed to go in, of course, this was when he fell. "Why can't I get rid of---OOMPH!" He landed on the ground, not as hard as he thought but still quite hard.

Allen yawned a bit and closed his eyes. It was all so comfortable he felt like falling asleep right then and there. However once he was about to literally fall asleep a loud thump accompanied by a familliar voice's protest. His eyes openning back up he blinked and raised his head to look around. "Dino-san?" he asked confused, not quite withdrawing from where he was laid.
Yawning for a second time he rubbed his eyes. This was slightly abnormal. He was feeling sleepy when he had just woken up.

"H-hey." He groaned in pain, the fall having hurt a bit more than he thought it would. "You'd think i'd be used to being dead." He mumbled, brushing the snow off himself. He looked over at Allen and the now asleep Lavi, he smiled sheepishly. "Um...I...I have a good reason for being here!" H ecried, his words sounding weak.

Pushing up from where he was sitting, Allen walked to the window and peered outside. Dino was, in fact, there, fallen down in the snow. "You were spying on us, were you not Dino-san?" he questioned, cocking his head to one side, "What I want to know is why though... did something happen?" he questioned, worried it might be something involving himself, or even worse, Lavi.

'W-well it's cold today, I wanted to make sure...you were okay?" His argument sounded so weak, even if it was true. He wondered what it was that caused him to overly worry, maybe the sad atmosphere, maybe jut Lavi, Dino wasn't sure. Even as he shook Lavi awake and helped him inside, he wondered.

Allen sighed. "I suppose you are right, Dino-san..." he mumbled. Going over to the just-woken up Lavi he looked at both of them, worried. He was worried for different reasons for ach of them and was worried once for himself as well. "Lavi... are you feeling okay?" he asked turning to the red-head.
A trail of dark footsteps in the snow that nobody seemed to notice winded through the city, among other footsteps and sounds and images...

Dino frowned, noticing that Lavi didn't look well. "Hey, Lavi, you listening?" He asked, waving a hand in front of the others face in concern. He hoped whatever he had before wasn't spreading to Lavi. In fact, he needed to see if that little bird thing knew what it was.
Lavi felt odd, not the good hyper odd, but one he hadn't felt in a century, ill. 'I'm dead, this isn't possible!' but a little voice in the back of his head reminded him that Dino was dead too, and he had become sick. 'So...so then wha---' He couldn't think anymore, dropping to the ground with a slight thud, he didn't hear Dino tell Allen to help him get to the bed, or the younger ghost cries.
In a room filled to the ceiling with books, a blond child felt....something come alive.

When Lavi collapsed Allen was striken by fear. He didn't know what to do, what he was supposed to do, what would happen if that odd 'self' of Lavi surfaced again, what would he do? How would he deal with him. Suddently iddle, the next moments he was on his knees next to Lavi, crying out for him to wake up. "Lavi... Lavi..." he kept repeating the other's name as if afraid of forgetting it, He only snapped out of it when Dino told him to help Lavi to the bed. That he could do, he realized.
Pulling chair close to the bed, he sat there, iddly again, only watching, he didn't understand when or how, but his eyes began watering, tears rolling down his cheeks. He, for some reason... he just couldn't bear to see Lavi like this, a painful feeling of fear clenched his heart. He wanted Lavi to wake up. Wake up. Just wake up. Wake up damnit!

Once they had settled Lavi down, Dino went to search for the strange gold creature. "Whatever it's technology is, not even the best can duplicate it." It was nothing more than an item from a by gone era in Dino's time, and he had the feeling he should keep it safe. "Just like the others." His ears perked up when he hear a fluttering sound, and followed it towards the back of the house.
Lavi was confused, so very confused. He felt terrible, hot and cold at once, then fine. 'What is going on?' He thought dazedly, hoping it would stop soon.

Timcanpy fluttered from one place to the next without much purpose on the moment other than the usual duties. Noticing Dino, the rabbit yokai that had become one of Allen's acquaintances he flew straight to him and landed on the top of his head -like he did with Allen-. Resting there quietly since he was not forced away he figured out to be okay and stayed there.
Fighting to control his tears, Allen folded his wongs close to his body and climbed in the bed himself. Curling close to Lavi he hoped with all he had for him to be okay. Lavi's skin was burning in comparison to his own, it felt as if the other had a fever. A high fever at that too. Sighing softly he moved close enough to touch his forehead on Lavi's chest. He did that and prayed. Slowly, yet steadily, he started feeling numb and cold but still he wouldn't draw away from him.

Dino picked Timcampy up from his head, carrying him to a room a bit down the hall. When he was in the room he sat on the floor, putting the little golem back on his head. "Tim, is that your name? Can you show me if there was anyone else, ghost or human that's been sick like I and Lavi have, and if there's a cure?" What Dino didn't know was that Lavi was being healed, and that Allen seemed to be the cure.
