Nah, Eirwyn's got one mushroom head so far. It's just taking a long time.
I think Qix said it would be possible to solo this game, so making you crew to get something would not be in accordance with that.
I got to start the game the other day--I did the sewers & got into Barton, and I got the Bonsai Wings recipe by taking Nelson's quiz.

Eirwyn has beaten the gnome General with the aid of a former zETA tester named Dash12345678. He is, I believe, 13 years old but very good at zOMG. And he has a Land Shark ring and a defibrillating ring that can bring dazed companions back. He is a good fellow.

Someone gave Eirwyn a level 3 Defibrilating ring for Christmas. Now she is ready to help dazed people she encounters. biggrin
How did you like the zOMG Christmas? Did you get any event items there?
Eirwyn had a lot of trouble getting into zOMG (away from fast computers) and clicking the presents, but it did work sometimes. And a friend gave her the Coal Sprite recipe and spammed her with coal. Between that, earning a few and buying several when the price went down, she got her Coal Sprite. whee

Eirwyn is all jammed up in the Zen gardens....and now that she killed both the OMFG and (surprise) the OMGWTF today, Albert won't talk to her & reward her for getting all his critters! mad Ian wasn't a jerk--he gave his reward.
And I'm scared to talk to Elizabeth any more, with all the rings that crazy woman dumps on me! eek Does she want to get me banned??

Crazy Elizabeth!!! Is she still doing that?!? I thought they would have fixed that two four weeks ago. I'm going to go check. lol
I hope you resolve the talking to Albert glitch. I think he should talk to you as long as your CL is low enough.

Whatsit was collecting troves of orbs south of Dead Man's Pass on Tuesday. 72 within 2 hours! Skeeters and Fluffs were awarding THREE sometimes at once!

Yes, I do like the new drop rate. I was orb farming on those Taiko Drums last night because Trip was paying at least 7 orbs for each 20 that I killed.
I've been stuck since they changed over the rings. Hoarding all the rings that are not soulbound meant that I was back to rings not yet powered up. And the old drop rate on orbs was killing me!!! biggrin Once I get my rings back up to my skill-level I will probably be one of the ones hoping that they change it back again. But we'll see.
